Are these the worst tattoos EVER? From graphic sex scenes to racist facial inkings, shocking series of images captures a collection of truly awful body art

  • Several people have gotten offensive tattoos on their faces
  • Others have gotten professional ink featuring sex acts and body parts
  • Some feature spelling and grammatical errors permanently set into skin

A tattoo is forever, and some people seem determined to be forever branded by their poor judgement.

Imgur user TheMoreButts — who, importantly, will not have to go through his entire life with his username permanently displayed on his body — rounded up some of the worst tattoos he's ever seen for a truly horrifying gallery.

The terrible tats go beyond just misspelled words. Some depict graphic sex scenes, paint bad judgement across the face, and even use the tattooed person's nipples as part of the 'art'.

One thing nearly everyone can agree on: It is never a good idea to get a face tattoo, whether because it'll be a source of regret as a person ages, or because it makes avoiding arrest nearly impossible.

Unsurprisingly, several of the pictures in the gallery of people with face tattoos are mug shots. However, a man with the word 'racist' tattooed in all caps across his forehead has remarkably managed to evade prison.

However, it's safe to say that if he ever commits a crime against a member of another race — or any crime, for that matter — he'll be quite easy to track down.

Other face tats include the Monster energy drink logo, and ice cream cone, and strange chin and eyebrow markings.

I have a long scar that starts at the back of my neck and goes across my shoulder to almost my underarm. I thought about getting some mountain climbers with pick axes going up it. Or something else like a vine and flowers.

Nothing really. It doesn't bother me to wear a tank top or a swim suit. I was considering enhancing it. Maybe, maybe not. Still working on my Pandora/ Alice in wonderland themed tat.

My ex's sister has shooting stars by her eyes.

It wasnt so bad when she was 20 something.

But it looks really stupid now since she's gained weight and wrinkled.

I think it should be illegal to tattoo the face.

I've seen little ones behind the ear, those aren't bad. Especially on women with long hair when it would be covered most of the time

 DD wants to get a Celtic knot behind her ear. She has talked to a few people and they all say its really really painful. She is a tough cookie though. If she decides to do it, nothing will stop her.

 I know people that have done that. And it isnt that behind the ear hurts so much, but the nerves feel like you are tattooing your lips and eyes. Its crazy how it feels. I got an ankle tat and my knees felt the worst of it.....

 Probably not. She is the toughest kid, even if it took forever she would suck it up. She is one of those people who almost doesn't understand pain. If she says she hurts, it's pretty serious.
