Sure, once it started, they may not have been able to get there in time (although even an airstrike from the carrier group in the Mediterranean might have given them an opportunity to escape in the confusion)--but there is evidence that she at least had some information that there was a threat well beforehand--and did nothing.

She knew there were threats against them, knew they needed more security and she refused to do anything about it. And then when the attack came, she, along with her cronies, helped push the story that a home-made video was cause for the attack.

She failed to do her job. She lied to the public. She testified under oath that it doesn't matter - "what difference does it make now?" - when people were mourning the loss of their loved ones.

She is a horrid person.

And as with almost everything touched over the years by Mr. Nakoula — a former gas station manager, bong salesman, methamphetamine ingredient supplier and convicted con man — it is almost impossible to separate fact from fabrication.

The anti-Muslim film Innocence Of Muslims is still bringing on heated debate even though it’s now well known that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula had nothing to do with the Benghazi attack. So why is a California appeals court dragging the anti-Muslim film up again?
In a related report by The Inquisitr, the final Benghazi report from the Senate confirmed the attack was preventable. Pat Smith, mother of one those slain in the attacks, blamed Hillary Clinton for allowing it to happen. Some reports also claim the Obama administration covered up Benghazi because of the CIA annex, which was said to have been funneling missiles to Syria well before Congress ever authorized helping the rebels by giving them weapons.
Following the Benghazi attack, it became quickly obvious that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula’s days were numbered despite what actually happened on the ground. During the Benghazi hearings, Gregory Hicks, claimed “[t]he YouTube video was a non-event in Libya,” despite the Obama Administration’s attempts to pin the violence in Libya to protests over a short YouTube trailer for the anti-Muslim film.
Regardless, the White House ran public service announcements in Pakistan featuring President Barack Obama saying the United States had nothing to do with the anti-Muslim video. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Charles Woods, the father of a Navy SEAL killed in Benghazi, that “[w]e will make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula was arrested the day after President Obama’s re-election ostensibly for lying to his probation officer about his role in making the anti-Muslim film. Since the Obama administration wanted to blame the video for Benghazi Nakoula ended up in jail. At the time, Politico pointed out how unusual this should lead to jail time, never mind having his records sealed:

 There were constant threats, not just there, but against virtually every U.S. outpost in the Middle East and in southeast Asia.

And an airstrike would have killed civilians.

The alternative might have been to station an extra 100 or so Marines at EVERY similar outpost. But we don't have the manpower to do that.

when your people are in danger or dying and you're charged with the responsibility of protecting them, you do something--you don't worry about time or distance or numbers or political careers--it's a matter of honor, a code of conduct and what our countrymen had(and have) a right to expect

she lied and procrastinated and ignored evidence and advice--and our countrymen were betrayed and were killed as a result

she is worthless with zero redeeming qualities

But she was asleep. While her ambassador was getting raped and burned alive. And then she lied to his family.

The video of his torture came out. She said it was propaganda. That it wasn't true. And then she said, verbatim: "what does it matter now?" . And yet, people, some here, will vote for her....

To be honest, from what I have read, I think she should have sent them even IF they couldn't make it there on time, send them.

what you can't seem to grasp is that the folks on the ground WERE going to go regardless of the situation/odds/time--and they were ORDERED to stand down

that was an egregious error--for the security of american embassies worldwide and also ( in truth ) for american citizens abroad as well

the world needs to know for certain that if you touch our people or our embassies you're taking your life in your hands
