DH1 traveled, and I remember every Sunday, just dreading the evening. (If he was going to Detroit, he would leave Sunday night.) I couldn't even enjoy the rest of the day because I knew I would be alone that evening.

I realized this morning that is the the longest time in my life I will be by myself. I've always had parents or husbands or kids with me, except for a night, two or 3 at the most. 3 weeks...wow...thats a lot to take in....

I keep hearing what sounds like canaries but I can't find them.

We had a whole flock of canaries that stayed a while after Katrina. It was amazing.

We get these little parakeets from time to time as well.

You get to have full control of the remote control, you Don't have to cook and the homecoming is awesome!

I finally bought a humming bird feeder today, it is so pretty. Also bought a bait box for the d@mn chipmunks. They are overrunning my property this year, just as they did about 5 years ago. I cost me about $700 to repair the damage they did to my house then. Not going through that again.

The CAG and County rec. have classes and work shops from scrape booking to rewiring lamps and things.

I think cake decorating could be fun.

And I would love to take painting lessons.

My dd and her family are now on a plane making their way home😊 30 hours is a long time with a 3 yr old and a one year old.
