Dog is better, but not much. I talked to a neighbor who has a dog about Sonny's size. He said when their dog had the new lyme disease shot he too was not feeling well for a day or two, that made me feel better.

Have a blast FWM! Got to dr office at 8. They don't open till 9. Got back a few minutes before and the lot is full! Ugh! Just need frigging blood drawn and I'llI'll have to wait for everyone before me to be processed.
it will be in the 90's today. I turned on the A/c downstairs. No lawn work, too hot. I am going to put some plants in the pots on the deck. Also need to grocery shop. Hitting the outlets either today or tomorrow with a friend.

Only going to be 80 today but that's because we are having a tropical depression. Going to a cookout today, lol.

in the 90's and so humid. I did the planters on the deck with sun patience, red ones, and ornamental grass. I also bought two zebra grass plants. Will plant them tomorrow when it will be cooler.

Well, we all survived. Ex was actually very cordial. Gs daughter is having a boy. Everyone wanted a boy so bad, we just knew it would be a girl! They did a chalk filled baseball (both mother and father to be a HUGE baseball fans) toss. She threw the ball and he hit it with a bat. Blue dust went everywhere!

While that sounds like fun, I find reveal parties a bit silly. Maybe if coupled with the baby shower.

Oh, I do too. Not my thing. But Gs ex is all about keeping up with the Jonses, so it had to be done. It was actually a really nice party. I'm glad I went...I almost didn't...

Sounds as though you just may have repaired some fences. I'm happy it was a nice time.

Corgi and I are the lucky ones in the house. Turned the AC on for the first time today, and it's not working. The basement is always significantly cooler than the upstairs, so it's comfortable down here. Too bad it's such a mess, or I'd invite the 'rents down.

Naw, they've got fans on and once the sun goes down, it won't be bad upstairs. It's funny because I'll still have a blanket on when I go to bed, it's still that cool down here lol

Done with errands. Long day but everything got done. Grandma came with. DS got plenty of attention from the ladies over his head. They all asked him what happened then fawned all over him. He ate it up. No busybodies, thankfully!
Saw something I don't see often around here. I was loading DS and the groceries into the truck and the guy waiting for the spot next to me patiently waited while I got everything loaded (most people speed into the spot and nearly remove my door). I thanked him for waiting patiently and we had a chat about how people these days just can't wait for anything. He said he doesn't get the impatience either.
Also went by the tire place to get my tires aired up. They do it for free so I swing by there every so often. While there, I learned that I gave birth to royalty. The tire guy brought out cold water for grandma and I. DS usually shares with me. I took a sip and gave him the bottle. Oh no. That was no good. He kicked it away and said 'own water!' so grandma offered him her water (which was unopened). That wasn't good enough either. So I asked the guy if he could please get DS a bottle since apparently he's royalty and can't share with me like he usually does. The guy laughed and said his son is the same way.
