But here's the thing: Trump's former wife Ivana said Trump raped her in a sworn deposition. Given how central a role rape accusations have played in Trump's campaign - against Mexicans, political opponents, etc. it is clearly a highly germane question, as frankly it would be for any presidential candidate.

The details surrounding the alleged rape are bizarrely novelistic even by Trumpian standards. According to Ivana, Trump was driven to freakish rage by a failed anti-baldness surgery - a so-called 'scalp reduction'. But the actions are very clear cut. According to her deposition, Trump flew into a rage, attacked her, held her down and began pulling hair out of her head to mimic his pain and then forcibly penetrated her.

There is also a lawsuit in California claiming that he raped a teenage girl when he was married to Marla Maples.

The woman, identified by RadarOnline as Katie Johnson, accused Trump and fellow billionaire Jeffrey Epstein of “making her their sex slave” for a four-month stretch of 1994.

The graphic lawsuit says the sexual abuse began when she was just 13 years old. Epstein is a convicted sex offender who pleaded guilty in 2008 for hiring an underage hooker — and then spent 13 months in prison.

Trump was accused of raping the teen after tying her to a bed during one of their perverse sessions.

I don't believe the system does it on purpose SO the good ones give up & go home but ultimately that is the outcome. Only the underhanded, dirty ones taking campaign bribes (or filthy rich personally) can afford to stay in the race.

I do. I believe the whole system is dirty. From top to bottom. I don't believe our founding fathers would have wanted our system to look like this. I believe elections are so corrupt that it weeds out who will play the game with them and who won't.

Exactly. No one is nominating him for "Most loyal man to his wife". Trump's issues about fidelity have the same amount of bearing on his ability to be President as Bill Clinton's issues with fidelity had to do with his ability to be President. Exactly nothing.

There has been so much "sexual impropriety" in the White House, that they ought to institute a new House Staff position: Presidential Mistress (or Presidential Stud, if the President at the time is female). Then maybe the country wouldn't need to worry about it anymore.
