I just saw that Lois Duncan died.

For those of you who don't recognize the name, she was a writer of YA books, especially novels of suspense. She wrote "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Her youngest daughter Kaitlyn Arquette was murdered in 1989, and the crime remains unsolved.

PrissyButt woke me at 4:00 - walking all over me, meowling "feed me! feed me!", because she hasn't had fresh food in oh, 5 hours? Seriously, if we didn't love her to pieces, she'd BE in pieces! 4:00 in the morning. Hrumph!

Is that dog a service dog? I want to see papers, dammit!

Sad about Lois Duncan, particularly that she died never knowing who killed her daughter.

We got about 1.3 inches of rain last night. Not too bad, I won't have to water today. The landscaper came out and replaced a tree that they put in the front yard that was dead.

I'm going on my lunch hour to get a mani/pedi after the rough week I had.

Morning. That dog is so cute!

We got a nice soaking rain for over an hour last night. There were tornado warnings for my area but I didn't even have any wind. Some folks got hail because the calls are starting to come in for claims.

Thanks FWM.  I am too.  A town close to my mom but probably 40 minutes from me got hit really hard.  The news was showing store font windows smashed by giant hail the size of softballs.

Oh my! Yeah, we've gotten hail like that.

And, every time Wayne mentions putting solar panels on our roof, I remind him of that!wink

I have never been to TJ.  But last night I was watching an old episode of Bones where a dead body was found in the worlds largest chocolate bar.  I added 4 different types of chocolate candy to my grocery order.

But, Wayne loves that store. He goes all the time!

I even bought myself roses! They were a deep lilac & I could not resist.

Their greeting cards are amazing as well: Quality paper, each one comes in a plastic slip, AND only $1.00.

Wow on the price of greeting cards!  I used to buy myself flowers all the time.  Lilac roses sound beautiful.

They were $5.00 for 9 roses, I think. I stopped buying flowers a few years ago, but every once in a while.

And, yes, I love their cards: they carry cards for the usual occasions + blank ones. The problem is that I buy them & then decide that they are too pretty to send!

It wasn't the marshmallow - I don't think.  And yes, you can find organic marshmallows.  Marshmallows are basically just sugar.

But they used organic brown rice and organic brown rice syrup.  They didn't bother to use real organic marshmallows.

Hey ya'll!

Tig, glad your cousin is safe and sound.

Glad everyone else is safe, as well.

My brother and his kids are coming in tonight for Father's day weekend.

There may be a tent or two in the backyard and a bon fire tonight.

I am attempting to fill in some missing data on some product we have onsite. I emailed the person that is responsible for inputting the data and asked her to please track down the dates we received it and document it. She's trying to argue with me that the product was shipped out in February. Um, no, I have a physical inventory from May listing the material. Just do as I ask, because last time I checked, I'm in charge here.

She's trying to pick a fight with the wrong person today.

Well my sister is at my dad's house for the rest of her trip, which sucks. But we managed to cram in a BUNCH of activities while they were here and had a good time.
