well, I won't be skipping, but I will be walking. A lot. 5k...a color fun run (walk). First one I've done in a long time. I'm really excited. this is an annual fund raiser for a HS sports team. I've wanted to do it, but until now, didn't think I'd make it.

laters all!!

She took a cake decorating course.  This did come  out great.  She said it was easy.  he bought a broken frozen barbie type doll and has a cake mold that makes the skirt. She had made a "dog" last week, and that one looked awful.  We all poked fun at her. biggrin

Ok spent about 1 1/2 hours weeding and trimming. I have so much more to do but no more weeding for today. Have to clean the deck next. I may have gotten into some poison ivy, won't know about that until Monday. Everything is growing like crazy. I also put down brush be gone is areas where the weed bush type stuff is coming up. I will have to get out in November to really get all the vines and stuff out. It's a draw back to living with woods all around the property.

We have had very little rain and the lawns are all drying out. At least I don't have to mow!

I had a blast this morning! I made it the whole way with barely getting winded (more like just breathing hard because I was exercising) and there were even hills. The only time I even had to slow up was when I got stuck behind some slower people. I was a colorful mess, it took me almost an hour to scrub all the color off, there was blue places there should NOT have been blue.

Now we are headed to Home Depot so dad can spend his Father's Day present.

We looked at Jeep Renegades first. We liked it.

Then we went over to the Ford dealership, and took a look at the Escape.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, being a Jeep gal. I think we like the Ford, better.wink

Now I need to do a bit a research, before we make a final decision.

I still have my 2009 Mercury Mariner, which is just a slightly upgraded version of the Escape. I LOVE it. DH is trying to get me to start using the newer FLex we have, but I really, really, really like how my Mariner drives.

It is. Her new one is a 2017, dad got it for her for Mother's Day. Her last one was a 2014/15. My dad really likes them too, just doesn't get the mpg he needs for his traveling.

I'm really happy with my Equinox too. It's a lot of car for the money. I was pleasantly surprised how affordable it was.

I purposefully buy small purses so that I don't have room for lots of things.

Generally, my purse stays in the car. I never actually carry it.

I don't have a bunch of purses, just one at a time really. I'll carry it until it falls to pieces. But I have one big old purse under my bed that I pile on all the junk after cleaning out a purse, it has years of stuff inside of it. I'm afraid to look

The convalescing toddler requested Del Taco because he wanted to play in the play area. I told him he's sick and he isn't going out. He protested and said he wasn't sick then promptly hacked up a lung. Yea ... not sick ... sure ...

I have several purses but generally only use one for several weeks/months at a time. Unless I need a small clutch type, I don't switch around unless it is seasonal (winter, not winter)

We are late for a graduation party since DH decided to do the lawn and wash the cars. It started 15 minutes ago.

Lots of happy Ford owners! That's good to know.

Our kids like the Fiesta we bought them.

Wayne would want something a little bigger.

I think the Escape would be a good pick. smile

Clean them out?  I thought the whole point of a new purse is to just move the stuff you really need and leave the rest in the old one.  Like a dyslexic locust.
