Might want to check your ticketmaster account if you bought tickets b/t 1999 and 2013. Click the "active vouchers" link. They just settled a class action lawsuit, and you could have a credit.

A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.

We go try to hit Wolf Trap every year or two. I think the last one we saw was Mary Chapin Carpenter. She was promoting her latest album which was written during her divorce so it was a bit depressing. Beautiful weather that night though.
It has been years since I've been to Wolf Trap. Aretha Franklin was the last show I saw there. It is a wonderful venue for small shows. With Jiffy Lube Live right in my backyard I've seen a lot of shows there. I haven't been in two years now. I just sort of burned out. I think I've seen just about everyone I wanted to.
I recall getting some very pricey Pink Floyd tickets in the late 80's. Hmmm I did see Elton John and Billy Joel in the late 90's, I wonder....
If your talking about their tour together, those tickets were out this world expensive. I wanted to go but couldn't afford good seats & wasn't going to pay over $100 for nose bleed seats.
My cousin and I tried to get those tickets in the late 1990's, too, lexxy, but they were sold out in 10 minutes except for the outrageously priced ones. I did see Billy Joel about 8 or 9 years ago and he was fantastic. And I'm not really a Billy Joel fan.

I saw Aretha when she played a free concert in front of the Capitol along with a bunch of others. I think it was one of those marches for a cancer cure or something. She was great.
My favorite Wolf Trap concert was Donna Summer, RIP. It was so nostalgic.

Saw them together and each by themselves. I also saw Eric Clapton several times including the tour where Phil Collins played the drums for him for a few shows, he apparently lost a bet and so had to play drums.
