Good grief, I just had a guy call looking for insurance for transporting handicapped children to special schools. This is not something I can do & told him so. He insisted I write all sorts of taxi cabs & shuttle bus services (which I don't) & I was denying him what is fair. He finally told me he'd get my service disconnected & close down my business. I hung up on him. Freaking nut job. There are thousands of agents in the area find one that specializes in livery.
There is a group of do-gooders who try to set people up, lexxy. Years ago, someone called my MIL to rent out one of her apartments. They were interested in the one-bedroom. Told her they had children. MIL told them no, but there was a two bedroom she could rent them. They sued her for discrimination. She had to pay a fine and go to EEOC training. It was set-up. Some organization who goes looking for trouble.
He can go ahead & try to sue. Good luck. Sorry about your MIL that just svcks. Wouldn't she have had county code on her side with children & a 1 bedrm?

I know right? He actually lied & told me they weren't handicapped but this is the newest thing around here & I've had at least 20 calls looking for this coverage over the past year. I asked why then were they not riding the bus. He said low income housing so they couldn't get the bus. I told him that made no sense. Then he said they were a limo service. So buddy, which one is it? Poor kids or rich kids......or handicapped kids.

Probably. But it wasn't worth the cost to litigate. And that's the thing....this organization knew that. Big scam.
