A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
I love exotic looking flowers. Like bird of paradise, orchid, water lilly.
I like all colors, multi colored things get my attention but it seems I'm drawn to either blues or reds. But mostly the cooler colors.
I collect flamingos. My collection is small. I don't get every flamingo I see. It has to speak to me.

Color?
Blue. But I love rainbow things. My shower curtain is a rainbow zebra print.
And what do you collect?
I don't really collect things. I don't like stuff just sitting around. I love gnomes and have a few but, like you with flamingos, I don't get every gnome I see.
I used to collect drawer pulls, I had/have an eclectic collection. I don't so much anymore but the ones I have are awesome, and really add a touch of difference to doors and such.

Flower - no one flower is better than another to me. All pretty.
Color - thats easy. Black. It's always been my favorite color, since I was about 4.
Collection - nothing really. Although for awhile here it felt like I was collecting children. What about designer accessories? I have some purses, bangles and shoes from a favorite designer of mine. That's as close as I get to a collection.

Purses count! I love my Claiborne purses and agner bags.
I keep saying I'm going to sell them.
But I just cant.

From tiny erasers to large pieces that sat in corners.
I had a 2 foot tall, ceramic unicorn. It was like a stuffed, patchwork toy in a cute sitting position. I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
I think that was my last purchase.
I realized my room looked like a crazy persons room.
I still have a few pieces.
A musical unicorn with a clown riding it, a set of brass book ends, a few of the bells.
That's it.
I started collecting mini tea sets but haven't gone over board with those.
I have one for each season on a shelf.

Flower: Has ALWAYS been Buttercup, but I'm growing REALLY partial to Gerber Daisies. Color: Black for clothes. But recently I've gotten into burnt orange for decor. Most rooms in my house have at least a bit of burnt orange. Collect: Christmas ornaments...and anything and everything Alabama football...

Flower: It's a toss up between Hydrangeas, Dahlia's and Lantana. So intricate. Color: Blues and Greens. But I wear a lot of black and grays at work. Collect: Snoopy Ornaments, Colin Thompson Ravensburger Puzzles, Shot glasses.
FLower-tulips. And some of those clematis flowers are really unusual, which I like. Favorite scented flower are lilacs. My great grandmother used to stock lilac soap for me to use when I stayed with her. I miss her.
I used to collect post cards but people don't send them anymore. I think I got rid of my collection to save on space during one of my moves.
Favorite color is purple. I used to love rainbows but the LBTG community ruined it for me. Now I see a rainbow I think of Cait.

That makes me sad.
I equate that to saying that I hated German Shepherds because Hitler owned one.

Well if she had lived during Hitlers time she might have hated German Shepard's...

I agree. Don't give them so much power over what you like and don't like. Sad.

I don't want to slap a rainbow sticker on my van cause I don't want anyone to think I support or agree with anything LGBTQ.
So yeah.
We can't just use rainbows as we like.
Now, in this day and time, they stand for something I don't believe in.

This IS the LGBT pride flag. This is a lot different than the above. Rainbows themselves are not LGBT. The colors in this fashion are - it's called the Pride Flag. A regular rainbow is not LGBT. Why you would let a group that you don't even like keep you from something you love, I will never figure out. Why give them so much power over you?!

Speaking for myself only. I had a rainbow butterfly keychain that I kept on my backpack. I took it off because I got hit on by females too much. It's not about giving them power over me. It's simply that I got fed up with being interrogated as to why I have a rainbow keychain if I'm not homosexual.

Rainbows are a symbol of God's promise not to flood the earth again and has been for thousands of years. Nobody can take that away.
Quite frankly - I find it weird that the LGBT community uses it as their symbol. Are they mocking God? - "we can sin all we want, you promised not to flood us out again no matter what we do."

Nobody IS "taking that away."
People will always like rainbows...ALL kinds of people.
I have a rainbow craft in our Children's Room right now. No one has complained...

They are not mocking God. The pride flag was first used in the late 70's and came from the peace movement. They see it as being a symbol of accepting all people of all colors, shapes, sizes, etc. All people under the rainbow. It has nothing to do with the Bible. But keep thinking it's all about you...

Apparently, it's all about you and thinking you know everything and being snotty about it. Are you the one that adopted that symbol? Do you know the person that did?

This.
It used to be if a man pierced his right ear, that meant he was gay. Not sure if that is still the case, but for years, that's the way it was. Left ear, he was straight. Right ear, gay. Today, it's rainbows.
My favorite flower is a Rio Samba Rose. I have it in my garden and this is what it looks like. It ranges from yellow, to orange, to red and coral.
My favorite color is green. Olive or Evergreen is preferred, but I am partial to anything green. I used to collect shot glasses and barbie dolls, but I have run out of space, so I no longer collect stuff. ;)
