Years ago, there was a gal at Indy PL who embezzled thousands of dollars and got caught and prosecuted...Big library scandal at the time.

There's this new show on called I Almost Got Away With It. Last night this guy lost his job due to some medical issues and they were on the verge of losing their house. He robbed three banks and would have totally gotten away with it. They had no clue who he was at that point. But then he got greedy...

Game at 4pm. We need to win by a certain margin and other teams in our bracket need to win/lost by a certain margin for us to advance. We are not eliminated yet, but even if we win it could be our last game. I am feeling a bit nostalgic but excited for them all.

Ours is open every Sunday (DG knows where I work), DH's is also. Only the larger Indy branches are open (maybe 8 - 9 out of 22).

I think it just depends on the community and the budget.

Both me and the lawn mower ran out of gas when about 90% of the lawn was done. I made a management decision that is was good enough. The last 10% is in the back so you can't see it unless on the deck. Once I stop sweating and re-hydrating I will get in the shower. Man it's hot out there. How do you southerns get any yard work done?

It was after 5 this morning before I got to sleep.

Our library is only open 3 hours on Saturday and is closed on Sunday.

I've always been told that the reason our libraries were open nights & weekends was to accommodate working parents.

So I bought what they were "selling," I guess.

I second that it's stinking hot outside. I'm power washing around the pool and our patio. The dog has the right idea. He's been sitting on the steps of the pool in the water for at least half an hour

Yep. Us too. Its actually hotter some places up north than it is in the south. The high today is supposed to be 92 where I am and my car thermometer said 101 - but it's always wrong.

I just got to the office. I need to get somethings done and get a jump on the week. We have someone on vacation that I am 80% covering for. And it's month end. You would think she would be smart enough to think, gee, it's month end, I should probably be here. But nope, she's not so I'm stuck with the work. I really dislike this woman, more and more as time goes by.

Yeah but you shine more and more as time goes by. Plus you are learning lots of aspects of the business that will be good for the resume should you ever need it.

Well the team lost and is done now until next year. It was DD's last game with all of her friends - which was hard. The juniors were crying just as hard as the seniors - the juniors were really close to some of the seniors. It's always tough to say goodbye but even worse at boarding school because they will never all be together again. We leave for home tomorrow morning. I am sad for DD and DH but happy to be able to start our summer and get my house back.
