And I've been up for while. Morning or Goodnight, depending on your perspective.

So is mine! I can sleep fine around 7-8-9 in the morning, (when I SHOULD be getting up) but getting to sleep - and staying asleep - is awful.

I've learned to ignore clocks (except when I'm at work...LOL)

I sleep when I'm tired.

Tennis Tuesday for me!

And I suppose I'll find a couple of chores to do.

We had a decent rain last night, so I think I can skip watering my plants this morning.

Have a good Tuesday, everyone!smile

Working from home today. Waiting to see if #1 gets a card from FIL today. Deciding which Stitch Fix items I want to keep/return. Need to do laundry some time as well. Boys are at camp and becoming very independent.

I bought new pillows two days ago. I used to wake up at least 5-6 times a night to flip my pillow over. The last two nights I just get comfy - then I wake up in the morning. These are magic pillows.

Theyre from Carolina Sleep Company, the ones with the bamboo exterior.

Today i I realized I accidentally bought non clumping cat litter. Useless. At least it was a smaller bag.

This bird has been coming to our feeders to eat for the past couple of days. I've been searching the internet, trying to figure out what kind of bird it is.

No luck. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks!

We think it's a dove/pigeon of some sort.

I've never seen a white and black one before. And we have a ton of doves down here.

I was also leaning toward pigeon because of the tail feathers, but it is unlike any pigeons we have here.

Flan I saw on yesterday's thread you asked me what I was reading. I played hooky yesterday so I didn't pop on the board. I am currently reading Devoted in Death by JD Robb. They are murder books with a recurring cast of characters. Light Summer fiction.

I guess I missed this too yesterday.  So #2 got a birthday card & #1 didn't?  Is it possible one got lost in transit.  It is impossible to not know they share a birthday & I can't believe anyone is nasty enough to do that to a child.

Me, too, but it is par.   I will give it another day then let them know #1's didn't arrive and perhaps they can send me the receipt so I can see if Toys R Us will honor it.  Then see what their response is, if any.

Lexxy, I think he belongs to my neighbors.

You can't see it in the picture I posted, but he has a green band around one of his legs.

So, a homing pigeon of some sort? Maybe?confuse

She is actually Nora Roberts using a Nom de Plume.  These aren't as romancy as her usual books.  But the main character is married to a super rich, super sexy Irish guy.

Oh cool!

I'd be worried my cats would get him.  He is bigger than their usual kills but if he is sort of domestic I'd still be worried.

As long as he stays on top of the fence, he should be okay, Lexxy.

The kitty cat containment system that Wayne built, would prevent our cats from getting to him.

You can see it better in this picture.wink

We have all colors of dove here.

I wondered what the netting was for. That keeps them off the fence? I would think if they jumped from far enough back they could still make it.

Well, it does the trick. Neither one of our big boys has managed to beat the system.

And, our girls don't really try.

Spock probably could. But I think she knows that she shouldn't.

So far, so good. He put that in, 3 or 4 years ago. And we have yet to lose a cat.wink

I've been reading the Outlander series. I'm on book 5 now. They are so long, I have to stop and take breaks and read something different before starting back up again, lol

Yes, historical fiction, time travel, romance- it doesn't really fit a specific genre. It is a series on Starz now too, but the books are better (of course, lol).

I will, but until I can confirm it was intentional, there's not a lot I can say.

I just remembered that a couple months ago DH had the boys sign a birthday card to FIL and #1 signed it "from _______ the third" instead of "love" like his brother did (even though I told him sign love).  So maybe that was it?  Either way, I don't think FIL's actions, if intentional, are justified.

That book sounds really good. It is not my usual genre but I have found recently with the Wool series that sometimes you find wonderful books when you step outside your comfort zone.

It's a subscription clothing service.. I guess that's what you'd call it. They send you clothes every month and you can decide what to keep or send back.

I know, it's more fun that way, too.

It's a clothing subscription service, lexxy.  You fill out your profile, and chose the frequency you want to receive clothes, and a stylist will send you 5 items.  There is a $20 fee which comes off the price of the clothes you decide to buy.   Here's a referral link you can click on if you're interested:  https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/3674059

I can't even return things I order that don't fit or I don't like that I choose. All this stuff would end up on a pile on my dining room table until I donate them.

I'm glad you are enjoying it though!

I do have a hard time sending things back, too, even though all I have do with this is put them in the bag they provide and cram it in my mailbox. Especially since there is a discount if you buy all 5. It's my addiction.
