Fever left and I got about four hours sleep. Now it's returned with a vengeance. I'm really tired of this.

No. DH is immensely worried about me.  He's out of the country and found a phone app that allows us to text and call with no extra charges.  He downloaded it for me before he left but yesterday he made DN download it on her phone.  She's supposed to be watching out for me.  Which she has.  But this gives DH a way to contact her and tell her to make me do what he wants.

Yeah, NJN, time to get yourself to a doctor, but you already know this.

Good morning everyone!

I slept 10 hours last night. I finally feel like I haven't been pushed through a knot hole.

Time to declutter the house this morning. I am going to dump lots of toys and puzzles that the kids have ruined. Time to just get rid of junk.

This afternoon will be spent on the phone. Should take about an hour and a half if I'm lucky.

Beautiful weather today. This weekend sounds like it won't be as beautiful. Got done picking up branches last evening and realized we lost the apple tree. It will have to come all the way down now. The storm Wednesday night took the top out of the tree. Oh well. Hope this weekends storms are not as bad.

The yard needs mowing again. Now to find a cheap kid. Oh wait, I have one called a grand. ;)

Waiting for the insurance adjuster to arrive. Moisture condensed on the a/c ductwork, and wicked up through the insulation, making the flooring heave - again! And I thought Fleetwoods were quality homes - NOT!

That sucks.  Can you do anything to prevent the moisture build up?

Save the wood from the apple tree.  It will smell so nice in the fire over the winter.

Morning everyone. My DVR wouldn't work last night so I called Comcast. I was told my system was showing code red & I shouldn't have cable, phone or internet working. Everything was working but the DVR. So set up appointment for tech to come Monday afternoon. The earliest I could get because this code red was area wide. I decided I would mute the TV & leave it on all night because I was afraid it wouldn't come back on. Then Comcast calls back & says just unplug it & wait 30 seconds. It was fixed.

Sunny, humid summer day! in the 90s with a feel in the low 100s. Thunderstorms tonight.

I am trying to finish up all the last minute stuff for our Independence Day party tomorrow. I have about 25 guests, neighbor has about 30. We provide the mains, guests provide the sides and stuff. BYOB but we do have some stuff. I am making two types of sangria, sausage, peppers & onions, and some kind of shredded chicken sliders. There will also be burgers (beef and turkey), hot dogs, pulled pork, dirty rice, potato salad, deviled eggs, homemade guacamole and who knows what else.

I need to clean the bathroom, finish getting the guest room ready and mop the floors. And finish shopping.

Hope everyone has a great day.

It was a great match, flan.

Very high quality tennis.

It looks like the Surly Scot is going to win as well.

He 2 sets up on Berdych .

Good for Andy. He's really playing well, too.smile

I may have just unjustly chewed out one of my customers. To preface, we have had these problems with them before, so assuming they were at fault wasn't so far fetched.

Their truck got washed off before leaving, but was dripping big time leaving - I can see it on the ground. Driver is told to turn around and not leave until his truck is dry. No one sees him reenter the gate. There is no tracking back around the building. So I call his boss to "gently" remind him to make sure his drivers heed instructions and aren't tracking material. Turns out the truck is still here 😕

My environmental department was all on my a$$. So I relayed. I got some seriously bad info

Oh my word! That was the best phone interview ever!

The lady was amazing and so helpful. HDD qualifies for an extra 32 hours a week of services!!!! AHHHH!!!!

A major load off our minds to say the least.

Now to get her qualified for residential status. That may take an act of congress... but then she would have 24 hour care. That is the one major hurdle left to climb. Hmm, now to find a good lawyer.

Can you tell I am relieved? Giddy?

(peeling monkeys off my back) ;)

Thanks Lily. A huge major off my back. This one had to be in place before I could move forward with the next steps and I have a whole page of "next steps" waiting to be done. Now I have a bit of breathing room. I hope to have most of the next steps done by the end of next week. Time delays kill me anymore, but it can't be helped.

This major hurdle will be in place when we move her and that is what is important. Weekend and holiday care is a part of this program and a huge help.

I wish it was the last hurdle, but it isn't. This program is vital for her to qualify for the next list of programs. If this one isn't in place, she can't get the other ones. Funny how this works. no

That is why this one was so critical to have in place.
