My sister, BIL and nephew are here. I make tenative plans with the boy, thinking they will be with BIL's family all day. Nope. And now the boy is getting thrown into more family time. I am so gonna owe him.
Send us some rain please! It's going to be 100° again! So hot! But it still beats winter!
It's thundering again.
Temp is 86 with a real feel of 103.
We're getting enough rain to create a sauna.

My brother is coming in sometime between now and midnight.
He is leaving his dogs here while he goes with his son to college orientation.
Don't know what will take place today.
LL, Misha was in Atlanta last night on the GISHWHE'S tour bus.
We should join! It could be fun and the winning team gets an all expenses paid trip to Iceland.

I think the storms last night messed up something in my TV or cable box.
Channels are taking forever to load or just don't work.
Is it ever necessary to reset either?

Been a lump on a log today. I've been sick. Don't dare eat. I think I ate something yesterday that had bacteria.
That's a bummer, IKWTDS. I hope you feel better soon.
Did you try taking some Pepto, or anything?
Yes I did. Good news is it is crappy weather so good day to be inside. and I have done some organizing so all is not lost. I hope to feel better by dinner, would love to eat something yummy.

LOLLLLLLLLLL I just put two and two together. When you said "the boy" I thought you meant your nephew when you first posted this. A little slow on the uptake here.

I need a caregiver here. DH got an abrasion on his cornea (right eye) yesterday and still can't open either eye. He says it hurts when he tries to open his left eye. My bad hip and bad knee have been acting up this and have all but gone completely out. I really want to go to the hospital to get my hip looked at because it feels like it's not sitting in the joint correctly and my leg is more numb than usual but I'm afraid they'll admit me because of the leg numbness since I have CHF. Blah.

Doctor couldn't give me anything, drops, pills, nothing.
He had to examine my eye, clean it and bandage it without anything.
It was horrible.
BUT
The eye is the fastest healing organ.
I could remove the bandage on day 2.
It was fine on day 4.
Moral of the story, it'll be better in no time.

Chef, please have it checked out.
I really do appreciate the concern :) It's not an emergency. The leg numbness is due to the impingement syndrome in my hip. It's been numb since November 2013. I just don't like the not-in-the-joint feeling it has right now. But, I really can't afford to be hospitalized. DH can't see so I need to be home.

I did too!
Sorry! My friends all call him The Boy, I guess it's just habit for me.
we had dinner then met the rest of the family for a movie. We saw The Secret Life of Pets. It was really good, I was laughing through the whole thing. Then came back to the house for some fireworks. He seemed to survive unscathed.
its kind of cute that my family is worried about "scaring him away". I sent my cousin (who was here last weekend with him) a picture of him lighting fireworks. She replied, oh good! He came back! Lol
