When DS1 was in town, we kept asking DS2 what he wanted for his birthday. He gave the same answer he always gives: "A motorcycle."

I explained to Itty bitty that motorcycles cost a lot of money & I did not have enough to buy one for him. She thought about it, then asked, "Can we get Daddy a motorcycle cake?"

I'll be happy if I can find a plastic motorcycle to stick on top of a cake.

Oh, and it has to be blue...

Yeah, thanks, but it's not that big of a deal. She'll be okay as long as Daddy has a cake & can blow out his candles. I'm thinking he needs a birthday hat too.

Our phones are out. It is so strange. We have a dial tone but any number we dial has a busy signal. We tried calling in using cell phones. One phone had a delay of several minutes but it did eventually ring & get through. Another got a busy signal & another got a message that the number is out of service. It is strange how each different carrier did something different.

Nephew wanted to go swimming. I get home and change quick. I wasn't in the pool 5 minutes before we heard thunder. We are now watching Duck Tails on DVD. I loved this cartoon as a kid. I just couldn't resist when I saw them at Walmart.
