Actually I doubt the child will ever have a father in his/her life. He won't be involved at all and that's a shame. Studies show that children do better in households with two parents. And yes, I am a "liberal" and I will say it again...children do better in a household with two parents.

I feel it's irresponsible to procreate with a man who is unlikely to ever be a meaningful part of his child's life, whether it be because of his age or his maturity level. Yes, it's her choice. But I can certainly have an express an opinion on it. And I would NEVER EVER presume to tell another woman what to do with her body - her right to choose abortion is hers alone. We wear our seatbelts and put on sunscreen, go to the doctor and try to eat healthy to mitigate the risks and stick around as long as possible.
