Trigg Fiscal Court is standing behind Judge Executive Hollis Alexander in his recent decision to no longer perform wedding ceremonies. Alexander apologized for any negative attention the county has received as the result of the decision last week that came following a challenge of Alexander's refusal to perform a non-religious wedding ceremony by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
Good for Trigg County!!!!!! We HAVE to stand up for ourselves!

Yeah, it's turning. People are standing up for themselves and not kowtowing to idiots that want to make them do something they aren't required to do...

I don't care one way or the other, but I'm a little confused. I thought judges performed non-religious ceremonies as a matter of course. Wouldn't religious ceremonies be performed in churches & other religious houses & non-religious go to the justice of the peace?
You have to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.

You know, it is getting to the point where sides will have to be chosen.
It's going to come down to a person's commitment to his Faith.
How much is your soul worth?
