Morning!

I knocked my stylus off and under my bed during the night and it seems to be gone for good.

Oh well.

Happy Monday, ya'll!

Good morning!

Muggy Monday here.

I got my walk in.

And I think I'll putter around in my garden a little bit.

Other than that, not too much happening today.

Have a good day, everyone!smile

Fell asleep after 3, and awoken an hour earlier than normal. Today might be rough.
Ginger is still pregnant.

Supposed to feel like 115 today. Ugh. At least I'm not sitting at Nats stadium today, so there's that.

I slept SO well last night! I read until I feel asleep. One of my two favorite authors (they often write together) released a new book. I COULD NOT put it down.

Puppy dog got me up super early. Apparently so that I can spend more time with coffee. He's back in bed hogging the pillows.

I had a horrible night's sleep. It's been that way since I got back from the beach. I thought it was because I was sick, but I'm better now and still having problems. I never have problems. Last night was the worst with nightmares. I'll have check the moon cycle....

Sorry you had nightmares, FNW. A disturbed sleep cycle disrupts the whole day. Hope tonight is better for you.

Lexxy, good morning!

Tig, silly dog. Ours left me a treat on the living room floor this morning. I was not a happy pet owner. :(

O4, glad you are enjoying your book. I think I have forgotten how to read. Children's books are about the only books I read anymore, lol.

Tang, she is sure taking her time with having those kittens!

FWM, stay cool down there!

Trudy and flan, hope you both have good days at work today. Is it hot there? We are through the worst of the heat finally, we can breath again without feeling like our lungs are drowning.

Ed, how are you feeling? I hope it's good.

Good morning Lily!

Busy day scheduled here as usual. This may be my one and only chance to post..

And summer is going by way to fast!

The grand's are here and I'm feeding them bologna sandwiches and dorito's.

Do I get kicked out of the good grandma's club?

While I don't care for Doritos (another one of my weird quirks), I do love me a bologna sandwich!  So you will get no shame from me!!!!!

I love doritos but don't care for bologna. I can tolerate it if it's deli bologna, thin sliced. I just care for the thick OM stuff. #2 adores it, and DH likes it, so we keep it on hand. All beef, of course.

If I had potato chips we could eat the chips ON the sandwich. That is the best way to eat a bologna sandwich. Yum!

The only bologna type food I like is Boar's Head olive loaf. It has olives baked into the bologna. I only buy it once or twice a year.

Czech  that is one of the benefits  of being  a grandma  is the ability  to spoil  our grandchildren.  Go ahead and be the awesome  grandma  and give the kids extra  doritos.

Oh my! I love olive loaf as well! I'm the only one that will eat it though, so I never buy it. I have to depend on friends to share. wink

Is the bologna fried?

Fried bologna with cheese, some mayo, and good mustard. On white bread!

Yum!

FNW, sorry you're having a rough time sleeping.

Waiting for the storms to start.

Yesterday, when I went to the store, it was raining like crazy all around us. It was like we were in a bubble.

We could see the rain encircling us.

But not a drop here.

I will gladly share my olive loaf with you Czech!

We ate it as kids all the time.  I was surprised how expensive it is now.  It couldn't have expensive back then otherwise my mom wouldn't have bought it.

I don't remember ever having olive loaf as a kid. I discovered it after I left home and was living on my own for the first time ever. Cheap sandwich meat for work back then. Loved it.

All meat is expensive now days IMHO.

I've added bologna to my grocery list.

With mustard and cheese, that's my favorite.

This will give me an excuse to try baking gluten free bread. Udi's that they have at the store is terrible.

Homemade gluten free bread is SO much better then the store kind, that you will never go back to buying it again. Good luck!

Please throw us some cookies sometime today.

So after a lot of thought I called that attorney & told him I will not be going to court tomorrow. I just flat out don't want to be involved. I thought I got these people out of my life 3 years ago & just don't need the drama. If I had to give my honest opinion I think the child would be best living with the grandmother rather than either of the parents. I feel so relieved with my decision.

Ugh. I just realized I walked all over TWO stores with a wad of cat hair stuck to my shirt - in the area of my left boob.

LOL. The cat hair situation is a bit out of control at our house. Been vacuuming and sweeping twice a day and still everytime I turn around there's more hair!
It's Zoe. She is seriously disgruntled. She keeps starting fights with the other cats and then losing.

Thanks guys. In truth the father is a horrible person but the mother is no gem herself. Now that I don't have to go I feel more open to share details. These are the tenants I evicted 3 years ago & who destroyed my house. I don't like them. That is why the attorney thought I'd be such a powerful witness if I testified. But I don't want them in my life & I can't bring myself to care enough to possibly have him want retribution.
