The sheriff was here around 2:30 this morning - renters were having a God-awful fight. He drives a tanker for the oil field, and she's stranded at home with no vehicle, so when he heads home, she wants him to bring her cigarettes. He got here about 9:30, and our other renter saw him open the door and throw the cigarettes in. I don't think he's very happy with her. He was in jail in March for domestic violence, but she never followed up on that. I just hope they don't kill each other.
It's cooler today and storming. That would be great, except today is the day I have to go do a site visit at a customer's plant. The first day it's really rained in over a month and I get to spend it outside, in the mud.
But DG, the good news is, you won't be outside in 100 degree, humid heat.

Yes, but I was soaked. My pants were went up to the knees. I had on an FR jacket that was dripping. My hair was relatively dry because I had a hard hat on.
I'm waiting at the salon to get my hair cut now. We got back with just enough time for me to change out of my grungy clothes and make it here on time.

Congratulations lilyofcourse on your new cousin. I babysat 6 kids today. I'm tired. Had them all on the grass eating watermelona and popsicles and the 18 month old decides to get in the sandbox after getting all sticky. The two year old decides to join him. Had to hose them down while holding on to a 9 month old. They were all good though.
Garden hose baths are an important summer activity!
