"Donald Trump insisted in a CNBC phone interview Thursday that President Barack Obama "absolutely" founded ISIS, and that Hillary Clinton was the terrorist group's co-founder.
In a wide-ranging interview detailing his economic plans on CNBC's "Squawk Box," the GOP presidential candidate also allowed for the possibility that he may not defeat Hillary Clinton.
Trump initially made the ISIS comments on Wednesday.
Asked about them on CNBC, he doubled down and said "[Obama] was the founder of ISIS absolutely, the way he removed our troops. ..I call them co-founders.""
ISIS was built upon the incompetence of the Obama administration. Trump is saying that metaphorically, but really, the average idiot doesn't understand that.

I totally agree with everything you said. I've been holding my breath & crossing my fingers that he won't say something to blow it in the final countdown.
I agree with every thing he says for the most part.

I agree Lily. Hopefully if he gets in office he will tone it down a bit. I know most of it is his temperament but I do wonder if he is playing it up a little to give the people what they want & to piss off the ones who don't like him. Trying to make their heads explode.
He has a dry, tongue in cheek, sense of humor, too.
And from what I've seen, not a lot of people get it.

I think he is going to be great for the business side of the country.
But I'm not sure he will be good at foreign relations.

Trump didn't "ruin" anything. That is what the Sleazy, slimy, liberal propaganda media wants you to believe. Go and vote. Let the chips fall where they fall. That theory has been floating for a year, no truth to it. Clintons really believed they would walk away with the election, didn't need help. aFter all, it is their's for the taking, in their minds.
