If your house was burning/flooding/sinking, and you could take only ONE gadget/thing before it all goes, what would it be?

For me, it's my remote control fan.

That's a good question. Most everything except family heirlooms, scrapbooks, albums, etc. is replaceable.

Except my red suede boots - they don't sell those anymore. It would have to be them.

My Secret Garden coloring book. I've got a lot of hours of coloring in that book. I would be devastated if something happened to it. I can replace most other material things. I couldn't replace that.

My DVR box. A- It has a bunch of shows recorded & B- I would hate to have to reschedule everything to record. As it is shows I set from previous seasons just miraculously appear. I'd totally forget those shows were on if they didn't automatically record.

I can't think of anything that's irreplaceable. If I were picking the one thing I'd replace first though, that would be my French Press. But only if my car was in the garage and was destroyed too. Because that's where my French Press lives when I'm at home. ;)

I only have coffee while on the road, and I hate hotel coffee. They always make it too weak.
