He probably started dying a little bit as soon as he saw Johnny Depp playing one of his signature roles.

One of my favorite comedians ever. He could make anything funny. He will be missed but as IKWTDS said he's back with Gilda and I bet that was an epic reunion.

I think it's sad for the people that will miss him, but I think he's finally at peace. He had Alzheimer's. That's not living. Luckily, he had a long life before that kicked in.
