I'm thinking of getting one of the little carpet cleaners for spots. Corgi has started peeing in one spot and I need to get it cleaned up properly so he'll stop. I think a trip to Walmart is in my plans for today.

The spot thingy is cool. I'm slowly getting packed. Got all the paper and cleaning products in the car, coloring books and games packed, beach stuff almost packed. Stuff is slowly getting organized. DD is in Charleston for the day so I don't have her brooding around.

The spot corgi chooses to pee on is his dog bed. Which then seeped through to the carpet. So now there is reddish brown transfer from the dog bed to the light gray carpet. Trust me, I have no desire to clean all the carpet. You hire someone for that silly.

I don't recall it looking so good the last time I cleaned it with my old canister type cleaner. Waiting for it to finish drying and I may touch up a corner that gets high traffic. I am done with carpet cleaning for the day. I have my room and the basement to do but DD is having a sleepover with 3 other girls so I will do the basement another day. I think my room tomorrow.

DF and I bought phone holders for our bikes that attach to the handlebars so we can ride hands free and still look for pokemon. Very handy!

Yep. I got some natures miracle and am going to clean his bed and that area of carpet. He rarely pees anywhere else.

Hey, y'all. Speaking of iPhone games, I've been playing one called two dots. Super fun.
We spent the morning cleaning the house and stuff. The clogged bathroom sink turned out to be a much bigger problem than Husband anticipated, so he's at the Home Depot getting parts. Hopefully he can save the faucet and we won't have to replace the sink.
We are having company for dinner.
It's been a very pleasant day so far, I hope everyone else is enjoying their Saturday.
Just got through making CREAMY CHIPOTLE MANICOTTI for 2nd Sunday
Lunch tomorrow - recipe made enough for the large casserole plus a
smaller casserole for DH and me. I also made a chili-lime-cucumber
salad - yumm.
DH is taking a nap - which kind of worries me. He never used to need
a rest during the day. I'm going to mention it to the Cardiologist when
DH sees him in 10 days. His BP has also been on the low side 95-110
over 65-75.
Mom's home. She's sick. I really think she just needs some rest and regular meals.
She's sleeping now, I'm making soup.

My dad has always been the type that's up by 7am, no alarm needed. And 7 would be sleeping in. He would catnap during the day, but nothing long. After his heart attack, he would lay in bed until noon and then be napping on the couch in the afternoon. It lasted for a few months as he regained his strength. The body just needs extra rest to recover.
he's pretty much back to "normal" now. He does rest more frequently, but a lot of that is a self imposed caution (and my mother's nagging lol)

DH is working. I'm waiting on DS to get back home. His presence was requested at his grandparents' yesterday so he spent the night there. I need to get all of DS' toys back in his room at some point before Monday afternoon. My cousin is coming for a visit and she'd probably appreciate not having to navigate the obstacle course that my toddler tornado erected.
I can't believe we're already a third of the way through September. I'm looking forward to the holidays coming up. I wonder if DS will say trick or treat when we go out this year. He will be trick or treating my grandma's neighborhood this year. Her neighbor said they usually get 100-200 kids coming through. I'm sure DS will have a lot of fun running around with the other kids. I hope the mall does their trick or treat again. They didn't last year.

I am supposed to go on vacation with my friend. But I just have a feeling she's not going to be able to come. She's been super busy at work plus had to take some time off recently for medical reasons. If she can't come, I'm considering going anyways. I have the time off already, and we have a use it or lose it vacation policy. This late in the year, it would be hard to reschedule
