Weird. I had a dream last night about oil tankers. I was on a cruise, and took an excursion. The excursion was a tour of "sunken" oil tankers. We swam out and were told that oil tankers generally do not sink, but are scuttled.
But it seems to have been leak over several days, not a sudden event.
Of course there was a panic, and now, governors are declaring a state of emergency.
If people would just use common sense.

That's the price where I live. It's actually down from over $3.00/gal. No shortage here, though. Just crazy gas prices.
It was $1.88 less than 24 hours before.

Gauging was deemed illegal - but no actual price was listed that is considered gauging, so it's vague.
I had to pay $2.79 last night at my second stop - the first gas station (QT) was completely out of gas. I panicked for a minute so was actually ok with paying the $2.79 when I found a station with gas.

I had nearly 3/4 tank when this hit the fan so I've not needed to worry about it.
The temporary repair was finished yesterday according to the news last night.
Gas should be more available this evening or tomorrow.
