I'm at work. Have a lularoe party to go to at 4. Hopefully I'll make it. Not really into leggings but a friend is hosting it.

Not into leggings either.

Caitlyn wears them under her jeans and sometimes long shirts.

Have you seen the fleece lined leggings?

She loves those.

Those are the crazy printed ones my SIL sells. They have tshirts too but it's all WAY overpriced. The owner of the company is a Mormon family who thinks all American women dress skanky and wants to promote their style in the Mary Kay way until we are all dressed alike.

They are wonderful. I have several pairs in prints.  And they are priced right compared to other leggings.  They do look good with the right top and accessories.  I don't buy Lularoo, but a friend sells Agnes and Dory.  Love them.

Sorry SB. My neighbor is hosting a LulaRoe party next weekend. So far I've been able to avoid them, but she asked me to come.

So hard to avoid, lots of girls at chutch sell them. I figure if I go to one i will have a good reason to avoid others. Might get some for the gym and pjs.

I have not yet heard of a Lularoe party. In the winter, we usually wear leggings as tights, especially the girls under their uniform skirts and dresses, or we have the fleece lined leggings/tights (I can tell no difference between them other than what the package says). DD12 has one pair of leggings she likes for actually wearing, but she has the requisite tunic length top to go with them.

Caitlyn found hers at one of the outlet stores.

Personally, I think I'd melt and die.

Lularoe is huge here. It's a big company. To become a rep and open your own online shop it's $5,000. Im not sure what you get for that.

I just got a pair of Faded Glory leggings from Walmart for $6. They're not 'Buttery Soft' but they are nice and thick, fit well, and are long enough, so I'm good saving the $24ish it would cost to get a LulaRoe pair.

My leggings are fleece lined but they do not make you sweat, can be warn in the summer.  I didn't know Lularoo was so pricey.  The angnes and Dory leggings are ~18 for adults and $14 for kid sizes.

I think they run about $30. But they may have different styles that are different prices, I don't know, that's just what I was told.

My friend is having one of those too! I don't want to hurt her feelings but I think they are so ugly :(

So I had a poker party last night, and this morning I was putting away my chips and I am missing one. I guess this sounds petty but I am stressing about it. They are really expensive chips! I have looked everywhere. I can't imagine someone took it home, but I don't even know how to ask without sounding like an accusatory douchebag...

At Buffalo Wild Wings with the Boy to watch the Colts game. I had to get a little bitchy with the manager. I called last week and was told they would show the game. When we got here, I said I wanted to watch the Indy-SD game and was told it didn't matter where they sat us. When I asked to have the game put on near where we were sat, I was told their "corporate policy" is they can't change the channel on Sunday. Um, then move us. I want to see my game - and you currently have 8 TVs on the same game.

We now have the game in and getting dirty looks from the manager. Oh well

Just thinking about leggings sends me back to 5, laying on the floor and rolling around because my tights were itchy.

Vette, say "Did ya'll come across a chip? I'm missing one and can't find it."

Broth is stock is broth.

Had to go to the grocery store. I hate going on the weekends. But it's done.

My beans are super thick and yummy. But now I'm not in the mood for them. Maybe in a bit.

From the store, it is pretty much the same thing.  When I make it, there is a huge difference.  Refrigerated, my stock is jelly like and has a much richer flavor and broth is still liquid.

I have THE sweetest husband in the world. He's in Canada right now and supposed to fly to CA on Thursday to meet up with some old friends.
He called me this morning to tell me that he has canceled his trip and for me to take off Friday. He wants to take me somewhere...that hes been gone a lot, I've been working my ass off and he wants to pamper me for a weekend. After I got off the phone, I bawled like a baby....

When you make broth and it is more gel like - that's called bone broth. The collagen from the bones makes it thick and gel like. It's actually very trendy right now to use bone broth and it's got tons of health benefits vs using regualr stock.

Hi, Vette ~
He's resting right now - just sooo tired all the time. The
swelling over his pace maker hasn't gone down - I think
we'll call the doctor tomorrow if I don't see any improvement.
Thanks for asking.

In case anyone needs some useless information, I rubbed baking soda all over my dogs and they don't stink anymore! Even the house is smelling better because of their lack of odor. I'm glad it was a cheap fix.

If you have any carpeting/rugs, use equal parts of Borax and Baking Soda
as a carpet cleaner. Sprinkle it on, let it sit 15-20 min, then vacuum it up.
Rugs will no longer smell of doggie!

 Yup. Works like a charm.

And white vinegar will sooth their hot, itchy skin.

I am in Colorado and for some reason we don't really have fleas here. I have had 4 dogs here and have never had to deal with fleas.
