I am loving the cooler weather. I slept with my windows open until the garbage truck came down the road in the wee morning hour. As I was dozing back off after closing the windows it occurred to me those poor guys not only have a not so desirable job they also have to get up in the middle of the night to get to work that early.
Well, today took an unexpected turn. I get pulled into my boss' office early to be told the president has just fired his assistant. And now I'm back at my old desk. No clue for how long. Or if they are getting someone else. Just trying to keep a smile on my face and not run away.
OMGoodness DG! What a way to start your week! Do you know what s/he did to get fired? Is this a job you want back?
I have no idea what she did. Honestly, if I have the choice, I want to keep my current position. I'm getting to learn a lot of new areas of the business. But, if the president says he's keeping me, I won't be unhappy.
