Love the original, especially in a theater where there is audience participation. We have the special edition box DVD set. The sequel sucked. Yes, there was a sequel.
Trying to see if we can afford tickets to a local theater that will be doing a live production. Tickets are around $100 per person but supposed to be a great show (I know someone who works there).
Hmm, may have to bring home the projector and have a back yard viewing with an audience if we don't get tickets.
It can be good if we don't try to compare it to the first one.
And Tim Curry is in it.
He is playing the part Vincent Price played.

Met my exh there. We used to go to the midnight show every Friday and Saturday night. Love the movie. I don't see how anyone could ever compare to Tim Curry.
That's why I'm not going to compare the two when I watch it.
