I'm the odd one today, I just woke up. Nearly 2 hours later than I planned. I was wanting to be in the office by 10, but seeing as it's 9:45 and I'm still sitting in bed I don't think that's happening. Oh well, guess I needed some sleep. Not much happening today. Going to work for a while then meeting some friends. They are getting pedis and dinner. Depends how work goes if I join for a pedi or just dinner. We'll see. Off to the shower. Later all.
Morning! Rainy and overcast day here today. But we are still on this side of the dirt so it is a good day!
Will be heading out for breakfast soon and to the electronics waste disposal today. Will stop at the Halloween store to find a costume for DH. We have two parties this year. One is an annual event to raise money for Autism Speaks and is an awesome time. The other, first time with these people.
Then back home to work on finishing up cleaning the second bedroom. I want that done. We need to wipe down the walls and steam clean the carpets to remove any birdie evidence.
I got up with Bunny so Husband can sleep in. I think it's going to be a lazy day around here, just hangs ng out and maybe a few chores.
Yesterday was our anniversary and we went to the most amazing Turkish restaurant. All the seating was on a huge wooden patio and it had beautiful Turkish laterns everywhere. We told the owner how wonderful it was and that it was our anniversary and he had the waiter move us to his private table so we could have a better view of the entertainment. I tried a hookah for the first time, it was really good.
They even stuck candles in our flan.
We plan to go back with a large group of people, most of the tables sat at least ten and they were all full.
At ten o'clock, everyone got up and started dancing at once.
We had the best time.

That sounds really lovely.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Sounds like a wonderful evening, but the word "flan" sent shivers down my spine. LOL
Very windy here today. Not sure what the day holds yet. We have some projects around the house, but not sure if I want to get started on them just yet.

Tang, sounds like a great time. Happy anniversary.

DF had to work today, he's hanging winglets on Alaska's newly redesigned fallen soldier airplane, so that's a pretty important deal he didn't want to turn it down.
So soon to be SS and I are going to run some errands and then meet him for lunch. And then I'm going to start glazing my SS gift!

Was it a bad day?
Or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day?
Well this has been a weird day. We are going to Olive Garden for dinner tonight. So I went to speedway to get a gift card - bonus points when you buy gift cards. I get the $20 gift card and a soda, swipe my card and it won't go through. She tries a couple times. Called the manager over and he can't get it to work. Sometimes my credit card gives me problems at speedway because they don't use the chip. So I just give him cash. Still won't process. He calls support, tries another gift card, still not working. It's about then he sees the card has a minimum amount - of $25! So he changes it to $25 and tries again. But then my credit card is declined. I check my email and I've got a fraud alert since my credit card has just been attempted to be used like 7 times at a gas station. I confirm all is well with the credit card company and I finally get to buy my gift card. What a hassle ...... if I hadn't been thoroughly amused by the whole event.
Just got back from selling raffle tickets at our local gas station/convenience
store. The girls in the Royal Court came appropriately dressed (45 degrees!)
and full of pep. Raffle is next Saturday. About to take a short nap, then
attack the laundry (before it attacks me!). Picnic in the Park later today -
hot dogs, 'burgers, and a fulllllll ice cream bar. Yummm.
Just cleaned out the pantry and the fridge. I am happy to say that all food in my house has not expired.
I would love to get the leaves off the driveway, can't even see the driveway anymore. But the leaves are too yet. I will be easier tomorrow once things have dried out.

I understand the east coast computers were hacked yesterday. I wasn't affected, but DH was at his office.
The companies that have the servers that most computers and social media run off of were hacked. Not stolen info, but interruption of service/connections.

Happy Anniversary tang!🌷🍷 Sounds like you both had a good time. Hope everyone is having a good day! Had my hair done, watered my mums and will be going to a wedding tonight.
I made coffee in my Kurig and forgot to put the cup underneath. I may need to go back to bed.

That sounds like an awesome place. Happy Anniversary!
I've been to Turkish restaurants and none sounded similar at all to your description, sounds as though they paid attention to detail.

Happy anniversary Tang! That sounds like a wonderful evening.
Slept in since I have a bit of a sore throat - allergies. It's that time of year for me. Spending the day making dog food and cleaning up around the house. Our room has become too messy for my liking. Time to get all the winter clothes out and ready to go. It's a beautiful fall day today.
One of DH's staff has to rehome her dog, he bit a student. Just barely broke the skin, but it's still a bite. The dog is a bigger mixed breed and just doesn't have the space to run here. He needs to run off the leash and we aren't allowed to have our dogs run off leash on school grounds. So he gets pent up energy and it comes out in destructive ways. He is walked all the time but it's not the same. I am trying to help her find a farmer to take him.
