We took Jojo to try bikes last night to find the right size. Then we came home and found a completely different bike she didn't see that meets all her requests for Santa to bring.
DH is funny - it's twice the cost of the one she was looking at, but she said she wanted a teal bike, and that's what she is going to have! This after 3 days ago saying she didn't really need a new bike. He's such a sucker for bikes. And six year olds.

I wish we could get a some snow! Just the same gray wet bleak weather we always have.
My little brother, who I haven't seen in years because my dad forbid it, is coming over today to help us clean up our back yard. Apparently he runs his own little landscaping business! He said he would do it for fifty bucks but I'm going to give him way more than that as a Christmas present :D

Oh, I watched the movie Nerve last night. It was rated pg 13 but I must be a prude because I would never let a kid watch it! It was good though but the ending was kind of a let down.

Took the boys to their first taekwondo tournament. #1 took 2nd and #2 3rd in form, and #2 took 1st and #1 took 2nd in board breaking. Whew!

Tonight is the Halloween Party for Autism Speaks. This is the bear that a friend made for the raffle a few years ago. the person who won it donated it back to the friends who run this party and now he is the mascot.
I have a pair of black leggings with silver spiderweb design, a black shirt, a black cape/shawl with silver spiderweb designs, some sparkly spiders and a battery operated string of purple light up spiders. DH is going to be a safari explorer.
Anyone else going to a party or dressing up for Halloween?
I love Halloween parties, but my friends don't seem to be interested anymore.
Just got home from visiting a friend, she is redoing the interior of her house. She has an old ranch. Looks sooo awesome. She and her BF are doing it themselves, most of it anyway. They have taken a 1950's ranch and turned it completely modern. The difference is unbelievable.

I took the grandbabies to the Pumpkinfest. They had a BLAST! The kids block was perfect for them. Totally non stop. It was hot though. 85 degrees. Tens of thousands of people in 6 blocks, so we didn't get into the street fair crafts and stuff. So it was ALL about them.
Headed out to eat with friends. Maneet Chauhan of Food Network fame has an Indian restaurant here that is supposed to be amazing. Im so excited! Korma, here I come!

I don't like the indian restaurant near me. It seems that it is all cheap cuts of meat marinated in heavy sauces. Would like to know if that is typical or not.
