I must go to the bank today. I've been putting it off for a week but now the mortgage is due & there is no money in my account. That is the only good thing about my new job. Direct deposit!!

I start Dec. 1st. My boss is retiring & sold the business. I am not looking forward to it but the new owner kept all of us so at least we still have jobs. It beats the hell out of unemployment.......that is what I keep telling myself.
I was just saying I'll only have to go to the bank a few more times. After that it's direct deposit. One of the few ups to the new place.
And as a reward for going to the bank I get Taco Bell for lunch. That is another down to the new place. We are currently up near 66 where there are tons of restaurants . The new place is down by the hospital (not sure how familiar you are with Pr Wm Co) & there are no places to eat.
Tomorrow is bogo at Subway. Buy any sub and any drink, get a free sub of equal or lesser value, and they donate a sub to one of the feeding the hungry programs.

It is chilly in denver today and of course the office 'air conditioner' is still on. Ugh. Why does it hafta take days for building management to adjust the temp!
Isn't the hospital near Olive Garden? I think there are some fast food places along 28, too. I used to live in Centreville but did a lot of shopping in Manassas when I was single.

No that is sort of where I currently am. The hospital is about halfway between there & 28. Down past the mall. There is one diner that is very good, a Dunkin Donuts & a Roy Rodgers. That is it. I joke with my coworkers that we can lunch in the hospital cafeteria. I'm sure we'll figure something out. I think we can still go to the Mexican place we eat at now. They have fast service so I'm sure we can still be in & out in an hour.
It is sad that lunch & vacation time is what we are most fixed on. I think it is all we can wrap our heads around.

Ugh! I did not know that & just spent 1/2 hour in line. I told my coworkers I couldn't believe how long the line was today. It pretty much lapped around the building.

Went to the zoo with my family, started out as a super fun day and then my baby grandson hurt his leg😢 Sitting in urgent care right now while he is in X-rays. My poor baby.

My little grand baby has a sprained ankle and doesn't understand why he can't walk. Poor little guy, he just started walking but thank goodness he doesn't have a fracture.

Thank you, he was having so much fun at the zoo with his cousins and he was going down the slide with his mother and both their legs hit the side. Of the slide. I don't know who cried more him or his mommy.
My granddaughter picked out a stuffed monkey for him.
