I like her too - been ages since I've heard her. Surprised that she's still on actually - it was a long time ago that I heard her. One of her stories about her relationship with her husband has become part of the bar I am looking for in a partner.
I listen to her. I love/hate her. Meaning I really respect and agree with most of what she says, but I hate her rudeness to her callers. She could say what she wants to say much more respectfully than she does.

I know who she is. I didn't recognize the name. But I haven't heard anything from her in years. I thought she was dead.

I heard her once when a friend gave me a ride home. Probably 15 years ago. She was interesting. Thinking in absolutes is what I remember. "If he's interested, he'll call. If he loves you, he will want to marry you without hesitation." etc.
I do every day on the drive home. I don't agree with everything. Like sometimes it's not possible for a single mother to move home with her mother so the kids don't have to go to daycare. She told a woman from day that had been dumped by her spouse that even thought she had a good job and could afford her own home. And it's not realistic for divorced parents to not date until your kids turn 18. But I do agree with most of the rest of her advice. Too many people are into psychobabble and it's usually down to good vs bad character. I love how she slays people that let their family of origin mistreat their spouse. She can be rough ! Go Dr Laura

I never cared for her. I think she's unnecessarily mean to people who are in a bad way and looking for help.
It seems like she's more interested in ratings than helping people who call in.
