I can't find the commercial on youtube, but I've seen it several times.
Pilsbury encourages coming together over their easy bake products for friendsgiving.
I was wondering when the PC crap would mess with Thanksgiving.
Have you seen it?

It's not PC. It's for people who can't get home to be with loved ones on Thanksgiving and so they celebrate with their friends instead. It's been a thing forever, especially in big cities like NYC and Chicago where people rely on their friends for all sorts of things that most people rely on family for.

When I moved to WV, leaving family behind in Cali, I spent holidays with friends. It was wonderful that I had a place to go on the holidays. I'll always be grateful to those who opened their doors and welcomed me in.
Thanksgiving is still Thanksgiving no matter if it's with friends, family, or by yourself!
It's about being thankful.

Of course it is. But those who have to celebrate without their family at their side call it "Friendsgiving" as a way to honor how special their friends are. It isn't a slight on Thanksgiving. Relax.

My friends helped me take back Christmas. There were a few years there I was not embracing the Christmas spirit after my father died on Christmas Eve. But a Christmas spent with friends in a country that views Christmas completely secular and how we had to come together to celebrate Jesus helped me overcome my Christmas depression.
I'm not going to get upset about people who are missing family embracing the holiday with their friends.
And titles don't matter. It's like getting upset about "Happy Holidays" vs. "Merry Christmas." Just be happy.
