Stop the hate? You just elected the President of hate. Literally. In so many ways. It is only going to get worse. Not better.
That is fear mongering at it's finest.
And the Dems did this with that exact attitude. They need to learn from it if they are going to come back from it. They (I won't say you b/c I know you wanted Bernie) put up a horrid candidate that turned blue states. And the quiet majority got tired of being called names for every little thing. The basket of deplorables got fed up - that's what happened last night.

I never saw more hate in this country (since the 1960's) than I have over the last 8 years. It's time to end it. We picked the candidate better equipped to do that.

Exactly. The Dems were getting crazy - labeling everyone who didn't agree with them as haters, bigots, etc. This country is more divided after 8 years of Obama than it has been since the 60s.
Trumps victory speech was very good. It was presidential.

I just heard one of the news people say "we underestimated rural America" um, you think? We made sure we were heard.
In my county, there were over 16,000 votes cast. That's amazing for a county with a population of just over 20,000 people. Rural America made sure to be heard.
I took today off. But I still have to check my email all the time. There was an issue that should have been resolved Friday, but other people are dragging their feet and it's still not done. And people are looking at me wondering why I don't have it done. It's not me people! Leave me alone!
Taking today off too. Unrelated to the election. My work team has been passing around some sort of cold/congestion thing and apparently it's my turn. I have to call them in about an hour to make sure that they call my people and cancel them.

Whatever....sad losers are sad.
Hate is on the other side too! At Hilary's campaign site some were claiming all trump supporters were ignorant, uneducated rural white men who doesn't understand history. All the ones I know have college degrees and are hard working people. Just because someone has a different opinion doesn't make them haters or racist. Our business has been struggling and we are working hard not to lay off anybod. Hillary will be more of the same as Obama.
I almost wish I was at work today. To celebrate with everyone. But spending 8 hours watching the coverage with my mom was way better. I'll remember the election of 2016 for many reasons. That's what I'll be telling my future generations, not who I voted for or about the first woman on the ballot. I'll be telling them about sitting up until 2am with my mom, about us both cheering at the TV, the text messages from friends also watching. The country truly came together last night.
I think it was deplorable that she did not address her peeps. However, I suspect she was physically unable to do it. And I don't think she was prepared for the loss. Probably didn't have a speech ready. It must have been all too much for her. Her lifelong hopes and dreams...what she did to get to this point...the bodies, the lies, deceit, all for nil. I might actually feel sorry for her...but I don't.
He is just about breaking his neck trying to jump on the Trump train now.

I got a news alert this morning that Clinton was going to be speaking at 9:30. Two hours later we are still waiting. I've got things to go do and I'm getting even more annoyed with her making me wait.
I would love to see the reactions of all the celebrities that thought because they endorsed her she was a sure win.
If she wasn't such a despicable person I'd feel sorry for her. In fact I do have a tiny bit of sympathy. It can't be easy to have your dreams crushed publicly.
Well, that was 15 minutes I won't get back. But I'm glad I watched. I would feel sorry if she weren't so deplorable. I thought I heard her voice crack once. I'm glad her reign is over.
Very happy that trump won, but this is a bittersweet day for us. My husband lost the county commissioner race by 3400 votes. :(
Aw. I'm sorry.

It was a very nice speech. Now it's time for her to retire to the country, and never be heard from again.
She's going to go radio silent for a while.
But she ain't done.

I feel so bad for him. He wanted this so much, and it was so close.
I understand.
But aren't you curious what door God is going to open?
I am.
