I feel a bit like Cindy-loo Who.

Just can't seem to get in the spirit this year.

Any one else?

It doesn't even feel like it should be Fall yet, to me.

It's like this whole year has been in fast forward.

Thanksgiving first. Then Christmas. One holiday at a time please.

I can't get motivated to decorate. I put up a couple pumpkins, but that's about it. With the upcoming renovations, I'm using that as an excuse but the fact is, I'm just not into the spirit yet.

I am so excited but I'm waiting to decorate. We just bought tickets to go to AZ for Christmas and see my family so I'm pretty stoked!

I am having a hard time getting into christmas. Not sure why. Plus there are things I told hubby I wanted for christmas, but I have a sneaky suspicion I wont get them. I guess I dont want to get my hopes up, especially after what happened with my birthday. Trying to let it go tho.

 That's what I'm saying.

It doesn't feel like we should even be at Thanksgiving yet, let alone Christmas.

Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays.

Christmas never really leaves our house. We listen to Christmas music year round.

For us, there is never a bad time to celebrate our Lord's birth.

I agree.

I'm all for Christmas.

I'm happy Christmas is coming.

It just seems to be coming faster every year.

That's what I'm saying!

It seems it's too early for Thanksgiving.

It's too early for all of it.

 This is me.

Just not in the mood.

But I think I am going to try pumpkin fluff this year.

It's easy enough.

A can of pumpkin puree

A tub of cool whip (or whipped cream)

A tespoon of pumpkin spice.

Mix it all together.

Chill for a couple hours.

Top with Reeces pieces or toffee bits and serve.

Chef John's French onion green bean casserole is very good. But also time consuming. You could prepare it the night before and bake the day of.

I'm making candied carrots.

A bag of the baby carrots
A stick of butter
Salt and pepper
And brown sugar.

Melt the butter

Put in the carrots, season, cook till soft.

Add brown sugar and let it form a glaze.
