Well, I like how the global warming people have co-opted the "climate change" label, since climate change is a completely normal phenomenon over time. I have no issue with someone who realizes that. My environmental concerns are all the toxins we continually spray onto the earth - pesticides, formaldehyde, etc. We are poisoning it. I think that's a bigger issue.

As for Bannon, I don't know enough about him, but I'm not going to judge until I see how he does.

He has demoted Christie, so I think that was a good move. Hopefully, he'll get pushed out completely - talk about slimy.

I'm disappointed Ben Carson is declining a cabinet position.

I love Guiliani, whatever role he plays. I would have preferred him for Attorney General, but it looks like he's going to be Secretary of State, which makes me wonder what role Newt Gingrich will have.

I've been listening to public radio. The concern with Bannon seems to be he is a white supremacist.

If he truly is a white supremacists then I am disappointed. However, Trump is very good about getting rid of bad actors swiftly.

I don't know anything about him, except what is spewed by the liberal media, 0% of which I believe, particularly after the sham they have continued to push on the public. So I will hold judgment until he starts his job.

From what I have gleamed based on internet searches, he was a local boy (to VA) who became a successful businessman and Hollywood producer. He's an alternate conservative and anti-establishment. He was accused by Shapiro of being a white supremacist but Shapiro seems to be a bit of a loose cannon himself, so I suspect there is some sort of vendetta going on there. Time will tell and if he's not a good fit, Trump will have no problem telling him, "You're fired."

Well, everything that I can find on Bannon being a white supremacist are basically assumptions while stating "we can find no evidence he's racist or anti-Semitic" but that he ran Breitbart for a while so he must be.

I find that very disingenuous.

All I can find is that he took over Beirbart, or whatever it is, and didn't exactly fall all over himself trying to prove what he was or wasnt.

He was labeled racist after being affiliated with Trump.

Like I said.

CBC news (tv and radio) are neither American left nor right and are reporting that there is long-term evidence that Bannon is both white supremitic (is that a word? I think I just made that up) and anti-Semitic. I haven't gone head over heels to research this myself, but that is what is being reported over here.

Here's the thing...
If you listened to some people from the boards, they would tell you that I am the worst person in the world. That I'm homophobic, racist, and nothing but a liar, that I've made up my life and nothing I say is to be believed.

Then there are the people here that I have actually met. As in, spent TIME with (like days at a time), and they would tell you the exact opposite of that. I am none of those things and I'm actually a pretty likeable person that makes friends (and KEEPS them!) quite easily. Even some of the ones I haven't met are friends on Facebook (so they see my entire life, LOL!) and of those, most I have talked to on the phone or sent gifts to.

So, don't believe everything you read. ESPECIALLY from the left. They make up schitt just to have something to do!

You can disagree all day long. It doesn't make my statements untrue. The data is readily available and I merely stated what is abundantly clear to most rational adults. Blatantly denying this man's stance is something I have been witnessing all week by a Trump supporters. People can't hide from facts and calmly pointing out their existence is hardly kicking and screaming. But I get it, you like Donald. That's cool but he made a big mistake with Bannon.

I only know what I have read from you on here. You are probably a peach in real life but you seem pretty angry on here. I don't talk to anyone on the boards - not privately anyway. So nobody is talking to me about you in a bad way. In fact, nobody talks to me at all and that's fine. I usually just come on here to read about people's dinners. :)

Where? Because I can't find it, and I've been looking. From what I can tell, he dislikes a certain person that happens to be Jewish and they are using that to call him anti-Semitic. So, we have to consider someone's heritage before we can choose to dislike them?
