Good morning good geeks! I am fairly confident today is Monday, but could be wrong. Vacation has totally thrown off my schedule.. The movie last night was good. I would recommend. the theater we went to was super nice. big leather recliners. Tonight we are going for sushi and then Dave & Buster's. we used to go to D&B all the time when we both lived here. It is a must any time we are together.
Brother arrives tomorrow or Wednesday. Not sure about nephew and niece.

Monday.......back at work after 10 wonderful days off. Can't say I'm happy to be back. Our office is insane. The new owner has moved most of our furniture to the new office so other than our desk chairs there are no chairs. It is very empty & sad here.
2 1/2 work week for me. I have to go BACK to the DDS today. 6th time in 2 weeks, Grrr.....
But Wednesday, I'm going to eat Thanksgiving lunch at preschool with Sweetness and Bruiser. SOOO looking forward to that!
We are going to a wedding in FL the first week of December. I finally ordered what I am going to wear. I don't know why it took me so long...
OH OH OH!!!! And I'm wearing BOOTS today!!!!!! For the first time in nearly a year! I've been wearing flip flops since last January. My foot has healed enough that I can actually wear my boots again!

Yeah it is really crowded. I'm trying to stay positive but seriously it is hard. I just keep telling myself we all kept our jobs & that is a good thing. It would be much worse if I had to apply all over the place & was unemployed.
I'm just whiney because this has been a great work environment & I'm sad to see it end.
Now I'm Annoyed. I checked my email and I am copied on an email from the new exec admin to Staples. It's about a return of some items I've been working on for weeks....seriously, probably over a month trying to get them to come pick these things up and give us a refund. I have also spent weeks fending off people at work annoyed that the stuff is still there. I told them I was working on it and staples is not being very cooperative. Well, now on new girl's second day, staples decides to get their poop together and set up a pick up. So it totally looks like incompetent DG couldn't get this taken care of but new girl could.

It's happened to me more than once, someone else getting the credit for my efforts by being in the right place at the right time.
Our city recently approved liquor sales. I wish they had also passed an ordinance about names. So far we have two liquor stores set up in strip malls named Liquor Depot Express and Liqour 4 U.
