The one in the den. I used the white and silver with royal blue accents.

The one in the living room, it is red, gold and cream. The red ribbon has gold swirls and the cream ribbon has all the names and descriptions of God. I used both to make the bow for the top.

Those are beautiful! I think I have that same dark red ribbon I've used on trees in the past, too.

I have an addiction to ribbon. 

Hobby Lobby is always having sales and I buy what ever strikes me.

I think I've had that red ribbon for 2 or 3 years.

 Mine has no decorations, and believe me when I way I some beautiful decorations.  But I have to make my life less stressful.  Not having to haul in a tree, real or fake, put it up, decorate, take it all down, is so less stressful.  I would love to go back to my large real tree but I have little help.  I have to cut the cord.  Love my village.  That is what I focus on.  Will take a pic later this week once I replace 3 bulbs.

Mine won't go up until after Conor's birthday on the 5th.

Probably December 10th or 11th.

I'm probably going to try to get the outside lights up Tuesday, before the weather turns chilly again.

I'll post pictures when I get it done.

Just bought a short (4 foot) tree for DH's sister. We just learned
that Sis is on hospice in a nursing home one town away. Her
daughter put her there because Sis needed more care than
daughter could give. We visited over the weekend, and there is
enough space on the top of her dresser next to the TV for a tree,
and the electric outlet is right there. Going to Hobby Lobby and/or
Walmart to get all sorts of decorations.

I seriously dont know why everyone doesnt buy their trees at costco. The trees are always fat and fluffy and perfectly proportioned! Sure, they come all bound up and you cant "see" it for yourself, but this is the 3rd year we have purchased the tree from them and it always is so pretty!
