Getting ready to meet a couple friends for lunch. We live a couple hours from each other but meet halfway, not often enough I'm afraid. One of our members passed away during the past year so our "group" has continued to dwindle.
My goodness! Everyone must be out shopping, or be in
the midst of a project at work. I'm making all sorts of
chocolate desserts for tomorrow's bell concert: Chocolate
and Chimes. We have three octaves of English hand bells
(ten ringers), and we've been putting in long hours at
rehearsals. Just hope the weather cooperates - its been
raining cats, dogs, and alligators for the past twelve
hours.
DH is finally up and making breakfast. Bacon, eggs, tator tots, and english muffins.
I have read all my boards and caught up with FB. Now I must do schoolwork. I feel like I am behind.
About half done my Christmas shopping. I just need some finishing touches for my SS gift. I won't be able to get out again until Monday or Wednesday to finish shopping.
I need to finish shopping for Jesse and Aaron and I'm done.
I need to get my Christmas cards out, too.
I've usually got them done and out the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I was up early, at least for a Saturday. Today was my company's brunch with Santa. Fun was had by all. Then I helped dad get the new snow plow on the truck and we got the boxes of Christmas decorations up to the house. Now, what to do with the rest of my day? I should clean and do laundry. I want to curl up under a blanket and read my new book.

I might get some laundry put in, but that will be about it. My parents are leaving today to go back to my dad's, I figured they would leave early-mid afternoon, then I could get some things done and have my evening. Oh no, they are still here. Totally threw off my plan for the whole day. Sigh. I can probably still have my evening of Christmas shows and Chinese take out, it's just behind schedule, which annoys me.

Had lunch with friends. Wasn't hungry for dinner but I ordered pizza and salad for the guys. I worked on my pantry and starting to hang stuff on the walls. DH is putting up the tree in the living room and I'll decorate it tomorrow. We just finished family movie night and watched that latest Dolly Parton Christmas movie. It was very good.
Got all of the chocolate goodies made for tomorrow, and
put together a small (2') artificial tree for DH's sister. She's
90, and just got put in a nursing home. Her daughter (DH's
niece) just couldn't take care of her anymore, plus work a
full time job. At least she knows that her brother and his
wife still think of her. The tree came with clear lights, so
I added silver ornaments, plus I made a hanger for the
handle of the door to her room. It fits nicely on the top
of the dresser, right next to her TV.
