Well, there are all of 6 people in the office today. I really have nothing to do, so I'm just poking around on the web.
I'm meeting my Best Friend for lunch today though. We are going to Maneet Chauhan's Indian restaurant. One of these days, I'm finally going to catch her there.

Well, lunch is totally out. My day took a turn. I screwed something up. Probably not as huge of a deal as I see it. But it seems since I took over this position, I just can't do anything right. I'm going to shut my door and cry now.
Thanks guys. I've been in this job 2+ weeks. And I just don't feel like I've had anytime to sit and figure out what is going on and get my feet under me. It was pick up and move and hit the ground running. Everything just boiled over today. With the Christmas card mishap and filling in for someone on vacation and everything else. I just broke. I'm doing better now, but still feeling a little uncentered. I need to take a breath and clean my office. That will make it better. I want my organization back. Hmm, maybe that's where these mystery hives came from. Omg, I just thought of that!
Aw DG, I agree cleaning your office will give you some control back, plus it's nice to have clean space.
We got to open presents last night since we are going to az for Christmas, and I got a ten inch tablet! This sucker is huge. I feel like I'm watching you guys on tv.

So just getting back to the board now. DG you were given the position because THEY know you can handle it. You are very logical and can handle/manage anything. You just need time to figure it out. I know you can do this.

Sis and I went walking/hiking in the back of my land, lots of animal tracks. Took Sonny with us and he was having a wonderful time sniffing all the tracks. We walked through the back of the land down to the neighbors a few houses down, their Sheepdog was outside, Sonny's BF so they played. It is a work out walking through the snow, we've had about a foot so far this year. Lots of grazing on cheese and crackers, shrimp, deer jerky, and bday cake for me.

So excited. Our Christmas is tomorrow, so that makes Christmas eve tonight. DD wanted to open a gift and she chose the puzzle sounding gift which was a sampling of Clinque products. She loves it and is trying the different items. Fun time just her and me tonight so we are playing.
