Have had thunderstorms rolling through since around 11pm last night. 

Power has flickered some.

I was sleeping, dreaming even, and could still hear the storms.

Woke up about 2:30 and here I am.

Glad I don't have to go anywhere later today.

I'm hungry.

Oh well.

 I do.  Already brought a lot inside to make sure it's dry.   I can see it has started, slowly and not hitting the ground yet because the air is so dry it is sucking it up.  Won't get really terrible until the evening commute.

Good morning! I'm headed off to Ikea today to pick up some glassware. My bro & gf got me a beautiful espresso maker but I have no glassware short enough for it. Probably spend money on some other useless things.

Most interesting thing of the day: random drug test. They do them quarterly, nothing like waiting until the next to the last day. I saw a coworker leaving too, so hopped in the car together lol.

I didn't even notice, the paperwork is dated from august. So HR lady has had these for months and picks today, while we are busy trying to close the year to send us all.

A Norther blew in around 5:30 this morning, and the wind is
absolutely howling! Gusts 55-60 - lots of shingles are going
to be lost. The temp will drop from mid-60's to low 40's, and
stay cold for the next 3-4 days.

We've had enough warm days that things are greening up.

Grass will need mowing soon.

I just scrubbed my living room floors and base heating. So bored with this storm that i am cleaning the day before the cleaning person comes. I am going to have her focus on the base boards and such.

And the house is once again, full!

Got little man and the rest just launched themselves into the house.

DS is coming on Sunday again.

Oh, had surprise drop in company last night. Enjoyed a fun visit with old friends. I love it when friends stop by.

Sikh and Muslim communities working together to provide shelter to the homeless.  Food & clothes available regardless of race or faith.  We could all learn something about this.  Not to mention, it is the Sikh community working in the Muslim temple.  Total integration.
