A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
He came from alaska through canada, and then FL. He was an air canada passenger and had a gun in his checked bag. He got his bag, went into the bathroom, and came out and unloaded two magazines. Anywhere from 30-50 bullets. After he was done, he placed the gun down and knelt down and surrendered. His name is Esteban Santiago and carried a military ID.

Maybe this will be a wake-up call to our representatives -
give our returning GIs the help they so desperately need
and have so gallantly earned. Send a couple hundred
million less to foreign countries, and help our own service
men and women.
The bad guys will always have guns. If law abiding citizens were allowed to conceal carry across the US, then there would be a much more rapid response to these kinds of situations. The govt can't protect you. Sorry. So, we can make more, more, more gun laws and take the guns out of the hands of the law abiding. And, open up more and more Gun Free Zones, which is what the airport is and allow all of us to continue to be sitting ducks.
He was mentally ill, had gone to an FBI office and told them about hearing voices from ISIS and wanted help. Voluntarily checked himself into a mental health facility. He had served in Afghanistan.

He served in the Puerto Rico National Guard when in Afghanistan. Then he joined the US reserves and later the Alaska National Guard. He was given a discharge for unsatisfactory service.
His coworkers went with him to the FBI office, as they were concerned with the voices he was hearing. FBI dropped the ball. Just because they found no evidence of radicalization. Whoops. Maybe they'll pay closer attention to the "ISIS affect". It's real.
The mental health system can't treat Evil. We seem to expect some miracles from the mental health system.
As for shootings, do you really think more laws will stop anything? Someone intent to harm is going to find a way. It would be very easy to take a gun and go to some outdoor fair, event, little league game, soccer game, you name it. Society functions when there are MORAL people who self govern. Now that the Left has broken down the moral barriers that used to restrain people, like the belief in God, etc. we now have unrestrained Evil.

No, but they can at least try to do something when faced with someone reaching out for help.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I read that the shooter was really aashiq hammad on FB since 2007 and was listening to islamic religious music 3 years prior to deployment. I don't think this was a case of military PTSD.
