I was banging my head against the desk by 8:15. President requested I order 20 copies of a book for a class he's giving. Easy enough. Except the book is out of print.
Good morning! We are at 8 degrees and going into a warm up. Expected high of 24 today. That's a heat wave around here, lol.
I gave myself a break yesterday. I started a quilt for DH. He's a Vietnam vet and wants an Air Force themed quilt. So, I spent the day cutting material and sewing. It felt so good!
This week is stacking up fast. We will be gone Wednesday thru Friday. Hope to be back home Friday night, but if it turns into a long weekend, I'm okay with that.
FWM, did your team win? Is your sister still at your home?
I think I'm going to spend most of the day at the sewing machine. The reading of that darn PDF file gets annoying..

We were bummed. But, it was great to make it to the championship game.
Irene flew back to Columbus yesterday afternoon.
It was a short visit. But we had fun!

dare I say after our temp highs barely reaching 0 today at 6:30 when I was heading into work...my car said it was 42....OMG faints....yes 42!!!! things are melting everywhere and it smells like rain LOL we have had a very wild winter so far!

The quilt is so simple. One main center piece and a couple of borders. Easy peasy. I'm not kidding. Will have the main part finished today!

I check my bank accounts and credit cards online often (and dad's as well) to assure all is well and no fraud is being perpetuated.
I had a $255 deposit show up in my account Friday afternoon out of the blue and I had no idea what it was for. I figured it was a mistake of some kind.
This morning I called my credit union to report it; turns out it was from one of those rip-off quick loan places. That means some poor person who was obviously counting on $255 didn't get it. It was probably an account number transposition during the loan process.
I feel bad but cannot do anything for them.
The CSR said, "Try not to spend that money." LOL - I'm like, "I'll just pretend it isn't there, ok?"
We have a steady wind and it's 36, so maybe school will open tomorrow.
