Good morning, everyone.

More great tennis last night/this morning.

The Sisters are in the final! And so is Roger!

Will have to wait until tonight to see if Rafa will be playing Roger.

(It's a throw back Assie Open, LOL!) That would be so cool.

I have a feeling not much is going to get done around the house today.wink

That is good Trudy.

Raining here yet again, and bored to death here at work....I need a new gig badly. It is like one big highschool clique now, making it even worse!

I've never been one for watching the women's portion of the majors but I do love watching the top seats in the men's. I'm hoping for a Roger / Rafa final. I was totally shocked when Novak was eliminated by someone so far down the totem pole. lol

Good morning, everyone! Hope the day finds you well and smiling. Not much going on here today. The sun is finally out. Haven't seen it in what seems like two weeks. lol It rained last night. Temps are unseasonably warm, which I love. It's really been a mild winter here.

Have a few errands to run. Will do that after lunch. Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Oh, Lenni, one big high school clique among adults would be miserable. Sorry you have to deal with immature individuals.

Trudy, YAY!

FWM, glad you are enjoying the tennis matches so much!

FNW, less than two days of work! Yay!

Lily, glad the day looks good for you.

It is cold and windy here. The snow will not be leaving anytime soon. Ugh.

Road trip scheduled for tomorrow is still on. I sure hope the roads will have improved by then.

Looks like most of the neighborhood is dug out. I see one more home that needs to be gotten to. I may have to take a shovel over and start on it myself. It's the home of an elderly single lady. I know she doesn't need to go anyplace today, but it's the idea of her not being dug out that bothers me. I'm going to wait for it to warm up a bit before I go over though.

Hope you all have a great day today. :)

Good morning, Czech! LOL We were typing at the same time. ;) Be careful out there shoveling!!! That's so nice of you to do. I used to do that too when we got enough snow to actually shovel. This winter's been really mild. So far only about three inches of snow has fallen. It's all gone now. So much rain!!! lol

You are enjoying the type of winter we were having up until Tuesday. Then winter smacked us up the side of the head, big time.

We had a lot of icy rains over the last few weeks and then, bam!

Oh, well, it is still January. lol

Thankfully we haven't even had ice! It's just been so warm, rarely going below 40s! Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not complaining! LOL It's just strange this year. But like you said, it's still January and anything can happen in February.

I was shocked by Novak's 2nd round loss, too. It's strange. He looked healthy. But mentally, the fire to win just wasn't there.

Roger and Rafa in the final would be great. Fingers crossed that Rafa wins tonight.smile

Enjoy your mild weather and sunshine!

Yes, be careful shoveling, Czech! We don't want you to hurt yourself.

I've noticed the last few times I've seen Novak play he just didn't seem to have that fire. Sad, because I think he is a far better player than Roger, although Roger's had an awesome run for a career. I'm glad to see Rafa doing so well after his injuries. I like Rafa. I get the biggest kick out of his little "routine" before he serves. lol I'll be watching tonight for sure. Hope you enjoy the match, FWM!

You came to the right place, FS! Now I have someone to yak with!smile

I love The Tennis. Especially the Grand Slams.

I'm the same way with The Golf. I love to watch the Majors!

My fellow Geeks put up with my little quirk, and I appreciate that.biggrin

Well, I can honestly say I'm not into golf but tennis is something I've always loved. Used to play on the HS tennis team. Taught DGD how to play and now she's on the HS team. It may not be as scintillating as some other sports but it is great exercise. lol I guess Grand Slams is what I meant instead of majors. Thanks for reminding me. The big ones like the Aussie Open, French Open, etc. are the only time I get to watch.

I'm with you, my friend! lol

I'm a the outsider, today sucks. My guys made a stupid decision, very stupid. And I had to make a call to rectify the situation. And I've spent all morning questioning myself if I made the right call. At the end, everything is fine, no harm, no foul. But I still question myself and worry I'll be called out on it. Sigh. Sometimes, I wish I wasn't so involved with my work. That I could just make the decision, not worry, and move on.

On a related note, we have a seasonal ice cream stand/drive in. They really need to stay open all year. I am in dire need of a coney dog. Stat.

DG, don't second guess yourself. You made a decision and fixed the problem. That's a good thing! If they call you out on it, tell them you wouldn't have had to step in if they'd done what they were supposed to. Unfortunately, as women, we always worry about our jobs and if we're doing "good enough". You did!

As for the coney dog, I can't help you there but damn, now I want one, thank you very much!

Thanks! I've moved on to the next crisis of the day, I found one of our accountants totally out of it in the bathroom. She's light headed, fever, blurry vision. Luckily my boss isn't here, so I helped her to his office and she's out on his couch right now. What is with this day?

I ended up with pizza for lunch. Good, but no coney dog. Those coney dogs....I swear they put crack in the sauce or something. They are so good and can never get enoug.

She laid down for a bit. Then I found out she'd only eaten a few crackers today. I got her a juice box (which I keep around for these situations) and she's feeling much better.

So apparently we have some more winter weather headed our way.

I know it isn't anything like a lot of you are dealing with.

Our temps are swinging 30 degrees a day.

Some neighbors, the next street down, came and helped get my neighbor dug out. And then a bobcat came along and helped even more. It was great!

I now have zucchini bread in the oven. Yay! Time to bake!
