I hope, anyway. Haven't looked at the weather, yet.
I want to get lots done today, but my carpel tunnel is flaring up.
I went to the animal shelter yesterday. Some ******* dumped a boxtruck load of shepperd mixes in our county- about 15 of them. Don't know how long they were in that truck, but the plates were from Arizona, and the dogs are not socialized right now. They were skittish and it makes me so mad. They have only caught 3 of them so far - and 2 of them were biting out of fear. They don't know how scarred they are or if they can save them. One of them seemed friendly enough, but he was HUGE and looked like he might have a little wolf in him - he appeared friendly, but they wouldn't let anyone "meet" him, yet, outside the cage.
I want to find the driver of that truck and string him up. These are beautiful dogs, and they might not be able to save them.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I had three boys yesterday. Made cookies and served them warm. School got out early yesterday so they brought a neighbor friend over for a while. I had to juggle working and serving. LOL
Today is beautiful but cold out. Not sure what the day holds once the guys return from taekwondo.
Grrr the girls wanted to go to Sam's with me. OMG they were annoying. And now I am making lunch. I have announced that this is the last meal I am making for them and then sent them to the basement to pick up after themselves. They slept down there last night and it is a huge mess. I am so going to get a pedicure.

It's 37 but the real feel is 52. Lots of sunshine.
Caitlyn and Jesse are working, Aaron is messing around in the kitchen.
I need to do a couple loads of laundry but I just don't want to.
Need to pick up the living room, too.
But, again, I just don't want to.
What I want to do is go drive around.
Music up, just riding around.
Maybe tomorrow when the world is watching Football.
Jesse works at Academy Sports, and they will be open until midnight tomorrow night. Why?
In case the Falcons win and everyone rushes in to buy the merchandise waiting in the stock room.
Yep.
The shirts are already made.
Whoever wins, will be put on the floor.

I heard that the Falcons are wearing helmets with the name of a fallen hero. Hope that is true. Having a super bowl party with my Church group.
Made a pot of soup for dinner tonight and will babysit my little man so my son can take his wife out for a date. I went shopping yesterday and bought my grandson clothes and books, bought all grandchildren cute stuffed valentine animals and books and bought my husband a birthday gift. I also bought me some clothes too. I just planned on buying foundation and it sort of grown to a shopping spree.
Just got back from the carpet store with a remnant of indoor/outdoor carpet. We are making Corgi a ramp, he's having trouble with steps these days.
Awww. Poor Corgi.
And he slid down the ramp and is now traumatized. We will need to do some modifications. The steps out the basement are tall and steep, that combined with his short legs, he has problems. He gets up and down his Doggy steps just fine.

I was wondering how he'd do on the ramp. I'm sorry he is traumatized. Can you put something gritty or maybe like mini speed strips so he can get traction?

I had the most amazing pedicure. The kids had given me a gift card to the place I go to for Pedicures. I splurged and had the pedi, extra oil massage on the legs and feet. Heavenly 1.5 hours. I chose a sparkly blue for the toes, getting into the spirit of the big show tomorrow.

I'm thinking some strips of wood so he can grip and push off from. He's over the trauma. I gave home a chew hoof stuffed with cheese. He's been munching that.
I need to get ready to leave. We are taking my 93-year-old great aunt to dinner for her birthday.
So the girls are finally gone, except DD of course. Longest sleep over ever! DD is in the shower. I bet she falls asleep soon after. Boring evening. I think we will have soup for dinner. So done cooking for today.
DG, love the idea of the strips of wood.

I'm irritated now. I booked flights for a person at work last week. I did it on the phone with United. When I got off the phone, I was under then impression everything was taken care of because that's what the woman said. I gave her the CC info, I have a confirmation number. Well, I just get an email from him that it didn't get processed and he has no plane tickets. He's currently emailing me while on the phone with United trying to straighten it all out. However, I don't have any of the corporate credit card numbers with me. Looks like I'm heading into work tonight.
DG it is archaic for people not to take care of their own flight data. No one needs an "admin" to do that anymore.
And so my fireplace is throwing smoke out tonight. Must have a nest that was built today in the chimney. Sigh , last night was fine. I have candles going to burn off the smoke so the alarms don't go off.

It's company policy. All travel is to be booked by the executive admin. This guy is actually pretty good. He's working on getting it straightened out. The part I may have to do is go pay for it. Those who rarely travel for the company, don't have company credit cards. And he doesn't have an extra $10k available on his personal cards to pay for it. Therefore I may need to go in to pay for it. I'm waiting on him to call. Another time I'm happy to live 12 minutes from work.
DG the best thing to do is to put him right back up on the ramp before he can think about it too much.
I'm taking out DF for birthday dinner tonight, but right now I'm practicing my spanish. Are there any spanish speaking geeks here?
There's just not enough traction for him. If I thought it was possible, I'd have him back on it, just like with his Doggy steps. But there is a design flaw in the ramp.
Ok, I don't have to go in tonight. But I do have to go in tomorrow. I am not sure how this got all screwed up. Hope I can get it straightened out. Next time I'm just calling the travel agent!
AAAnndd DD is sound asleep. And the fire issue had to do with wet wood. I am good to go. Boring, I know...
It's more than enough excitement for me.
I'm ready for bed, myself.
