Oh my. Normally the lobby lights are on a motion detector. But someone must have turned them off last night. My receptionist was sitting in the dark because she didn't know how to turn the lights on. I simply pointed to a light switch inside the door. Sigh.
I thought today was Thursday. To the point, I questioned why the Boy went to bed so early last night because he should be staying up to prepare for night shift. Um, he still has to work days today since it's only Wednesday. Sigh. This week will never end
Good morning🎶 Little man has had his breakfast and is now looking at a book 📚. Dh has left for his annual golf trip and will be gone for a week in a half. I will miss him but I hope he has a lot of fun.🏌🏽♀️

I guess we should start the "Dazed and Confused" Club, DG.

Boys had their allergist follow up. #1 can't smell. Never could. No sense of smell. Now we need to try to figure that one out. Ugh. It never ends.
Jesse has a very weak ol factory ability, too.
It's weird, huh?

Can we ammend the title of the club to Dazed, confused, and exhausted club?

Love the day after a holiday! DH went to the nursery to
get more fertilizer for the watermelon plants, and came
home with the sweetest white azalea bush! Its white,
with a hint of pink around the edges. Not going to plant
it today - too much wind, but it will be in the ground
tomorrow. Really do love that man!

I bought 3, bright, hot pink, azaleas a few years back.
Only 1 lived.
And it's barely 2 feet tall!
I love it.
I'll share a picture of mine when it blooms, if you share a picture of yours!

Momala, isn't it a little early, to plant it outside?
(I know you're further south than we are...but, shouldn't you wait, a few weeks?)
I don't plant anything outside until April 1st. Or a little later.
We can still get a night or two of frost/freeze, until the middle of March.

Here, people are already prepping their gardens, turning in fertilizer and such.
Generally, heartier plants can go in the ground about mid February.
You just have to watch for the occasional dip in temps.
We haven't been down to freezing in a few weeks now.
If it does turn cold, you just cover the vegetation.

wow. We ordered a railing built by a new handy man. He put in the 4x4 posts the other day and left them to cure. Today, I came home and the thing is beautiful! I was expecting something really simple and he built me a beautiful fence and hand rail with solar lights on the posts and everything. We are planning to put in a fence for Buddy - I'm going to see if he can do it to match!

Lily, we haven't been freezing for more than 30 hours at a time, this winter. It's been mild. Warmer than usual.
I still wouldn't plant anything outside, just yet.
(Wayne looked at our lemon and lime trees, in our foyer. Along with our hibiscus plant. And asked me, when we could move them outside, again. Not till April 1st, dude. I've nursed these plants all winter. I don't want to put them outside, until it's safe.)

Our front garden gets the morning sun, and is protected
on one side by the foundation of the house, and by the
porch on another, which also protects it from the wind.
DH has already planted his okra, onions, and potatoes.
The bluebonnets are up and thriving - blooms should
be showing in another couple of weeks. San Antonio
has a longer growing season than many areas in south
Texas.

We want to see some pictures, LL!
