This movie is scheduled for one showing across the country on Thursday, February 23

IS GENESIS HISTORY? is a fascinating new look at the biblical, historical, and scientific evidence for Creation and the Flood. Learn from more than a dozen scientists and scholars as they explore the world around us in light of Genesis.

Of course Genesis is history.

I'm glad to see science supporting the Bible instead of debunking it. A refreshing change.

Thanks for sharing. I hope to view the clip tomorrow.

Who produced this?

After the Noah movie, and a few others, I am reluctant to show support for these movies.

Yeah, Noah stunk. BUT, it was a movie, they never said it was biblically accurate. People keep forgetting it's Hollywood, not a documentary.

I'm not sure who produced it, sorry. From what I undestand this is a documentary.

Back when I was homeschooling DS, we saw a presentation from Bob Jones University with Ken Ham regarding Genesis. It was fantastic and very thought provoking. His presentation was if you don't believe Genesis then there is no need for further reading of the Bible. I had never really thought of it from that angle.

He also believes that the earth is both "young and old". In his presentation, he points out that God created Adam and Eve as adults and he placed them in a garden that has fruit bearing tress in it. For a tree to bear fruit, it has to be older. Basically, God created an old world so that it could sustain life.

I also do not believe in a young earth, however I also believe God lives inside and outside of time as we know it. There is too much going on for our human brain to comprehend let alone place firm judgment on what we are reading in the Bible. In my opinion, the Bible is God's "Fun with Dick and Jane" first level introductory to creation, God and his love for us. That once we are on the other side, we are going to get the REAL education, unbound by earthly confounds.

Well, it does say "replenish" the earth.

That means to restore or restock.

So yes, the earth is old.
