I'm at work. It's cold this morning. But it's supposed to get in the 50's later.

Nursing the coffee as well. Dog is curled up beside me with apparently no intention of going outside. Which is fine - I don't have anywhere to go until later anyways.

Oh my goodness! DH got me up too early! He
wanted to go to Home Depot, then Wal-Mart, then
The Green Gate (nursery). Since I'm the designated
driver of this family, I had to start my day ve r r r y
early. Oh well, I'm back home. I'll put something
in the slow cooker and then relax until I leave for
my Monday sewing group.

Under the "other duties as assigned" label. I have to find someone to relocate a skunk. We have nearly 100 acres of wetland/forest areas. We have all kinds of wildlife, really don't pay much attention to them. But president saw the skunk out his window and decided it was too close. So now I have to find someone to relocate it.

Skunks hate light, dogs and orange peel.  They are nocturnal - leave lights on outside and they won't come around.  Have a "bring your dog to work day" and have all the dogs pee around the building.  Scatter orange peels outside your boss' office.

I am allowed to leave the skunk be. He's in a field. Really not close to any people. But I promised to keep an eye on him. I'm sure he'll be gone in a day or so.

My question is what time was it when Mr Boss saw Mr Skunk?  If during daylight, that skunk may be rapid.

I had an unexpected good day at work. I expected it to be a tough day given it was my first day back after a week. I was busy all day solving issues and every issue is resolved. Feels good.

Glad you had a good day, IKWTDS.

We have a rabies warning in our area.

Woman was bitten by a feral cat showing signs of being rabid.

She is in treatment, the cat has been sent for testing.

I'd say leave the skunk alone.

He'll probably be really hard to catch, then.  Being so fast and all.

Wayne was worried, that somehow, Veteran Energy, had made a mistake...he asked me to double check it.

Nope. No mistake. We hit "their sweet spot", again.

(When you only use between 1000-2000 KWh, they take $100 off of you bill.) I think that's how it works. I would have to go back and find the contract.)

We only got charged 2.4 cents, per KWh.

I will be so sad, when this contract expires, in July.

No Lily. I don't stay with any company long enough to over pay.

I have become an electricity slut.

In Texas, you can shop around for it.

I won't do a contract, over a year.

Usually, I won't lock into anything over 6 months. The last time I shopped around, there weren't any good 6 month contracts.

I went with Veteran Energy. For a year.

(Praying I hadn't made a big mistake.)

So far, so good.
