Cold and wet. Ugh...At least it's a bit slower at work today. It's been so busy we haven't had a chance to catch our breath between projects. Oh well it makes for a faster day when it's busy anyway.

BUT, my BFF called last night and she had a cancellation at her beach condo next week. Said she knew it was spur of the moment, but was there any way possible that G and I could come down with her and her DH sometime between the 15th and the 25th. Well, spur of the moment is all that we can do this year because of gigs popping up for G. So, that's a friggin YES!!!!!!! We are leaving next Wednesday and coming back on the 21st. The Gulf is calling me!!!!!!!

Unfortunately no. Dauphin Island. I LOVE this place. Talk about remote. No fast food anywhere around. All mom and pop shops. No Spring Breakers. It's very adult and very quiet...

Flan, are you planning on going to the coffee plantation there? I would highly recommend that, and the light house on the northern part of the Island. It is beautiful there and is also a bird sanctuary.

We always go to the coffee plantation. Last trip we visited the lighthouse, too. I love going to Hanalei as well.
