Today sucks. The kids are dragging, I'm tired. I hate spring forward. GRRR. And if they are going to do it, they need to do it at 3:00 on Friday, giving everyone an hour off work, and then the entire weekend to adjust.
Heart attacks will increase 25% today. Why doesn't anyone pitch a fit about that?

I agree LL. Changing the clocks is no longer necessary and we know enough of the bad effects that I can't believe it still happens. Trying to get as much work done as possible today because I'm sure I won't be here tomorrow.

I know it isn't anywhere near what some are dealing with, but it is the kind of cold that cuts to the bone.
Damp, bone rattling, cold.
So, Aaron is transferring to a bare bones school to finish the year so he can graduate.
I'm so disappointed in his school performance.
He has 8 weeks to complete all he has slacked on this year.
It won't be easy, nor should it be.
I swear, I want to jerk a knot in his tail, but I think it's time he face the cold hard facts of his own choices.
If he doesn't graduate, I'm not paying for summer school, he'll go back to high school and do the whole year over.

We have more snow here as well. And it is so cold!
Have lots to get done today. Spent the last four days with little man and I get him again on Wednesday, only he comes to our house for the weekend. Then we are all meeting on Sunday for a family fun day, ALL of us! That's going to hurt the old pocket book. Papa said he was treating all. :)

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Took #2 to doctor to check his cold and make sure it's not in his lungs. A new doctor at the practice saw him and listened and said he's fine. I hope he stays fine because we're expected to get 5-8 inches tomorrow which can really put a halt in travel around here. Cancelled my appointments for tomorrow and I'm working from home today with #2.

So, yea, we are supposed to get anywhere from 6" to 18" of snow here. All depends on whose forecast you listen to.
This past week has been filled with ups and downs.
Officially failed one class last term. I should have withdrawn when I wanted to. I will take it again. It is not the end of the world and I will not let it bring me down.
We bought DH a newer vehicle. 2015 Toyota Camry with 40k miles to replace his 2003 Camry with almost 300k miles. Now to try to private sell it. It still runs good and has been maintained well. With DH's 100 mile round trip commute, it was overdue to replace.
Almost all caught up with housework and have this years garden plans started.
DH also got notice that his company's consulting gig will not be renewed come May 31st. Here's hoping he finds another job or the new consulting company hires him. He is the one who carries the benefits. We need the medical.
So, I am back to figuring out where we can cut the budget. We now have 2 car payments. I am looking to see what may be out there for me but not holding on to too much without my BA and license. I know we will be fine for several reasons. The Moms would help us out and our biggest expense is our mortgage, which is a private loan thru the Lodge. Lodge will help us out if necessary.
Pouring rain. Lucky our elevation is so low or it would be a blizzard.
Looking at two new places to live today. Shared housing, which drives me bonkers. One of the places is in a good location but I think the share person might not be a good fit. The second location is less convenient, but it's cheaper. And more central to both my commutes. The first place is closer to one commute and will reduce the need to find cheap parking.
House shares suck. And only work out about 50% of the time. And I have a whole 1B worth of stuff, so I will also need to find affordable storage. In one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Yesterday I got to see Sweetness and Bruiser, they met me at mother's rehab facility. I was coloring with Sweetness and I said, "I love you so much (real name)"...she said, call me Punkin, Grandmomma. So from here on out, she is my Punkin. :)
Oh and my friend from Canada is coming to see me tomorrow!!!!!! I am BEYOND excited!!!!!!
