I am attending a jewelry making class and the knitting, DD's play runs again tonight and i am going to watch. After the show their is a cast party for the kids so I will have to head back to the school at 11:00, way past my bed time. Busy day

Sniffles - Morning all. DH has passed over his cold/flu/whatever this sickness is.
Gray and overcast here with scattered showers of rain or snow. We are headed over to MILs to finish shovelling her driveway from the storms earlier in the week but we are going to be avoiding her since we don't wnat to get her sick. She will be disappointed that we won't take her out to eat but oh well.
Then I need to do school work.

Dance class this morning! Yay! I hate dragging myself out of bed to go, but I love it once I get there. My new apartment/studio/efficiency suite (I love that term ... sounds important ... like you chose it and it's not that you couldn't afford a place with extra walls ....) is having its bathroom fixed up and I will have the key soon. I will start moving boxes early to take some of the pressure off the moving guys. And to get some of the more breakable stuff our smaller furniture (side tables, etc.) out of the way.

Still fighting my cold and for the 3rd nite in a row I've had insomnia. I don't know what's worse a cold and sore throat or tiredness. I do seem to feel a bit better today though.

Taekwondo this morning. #2 got his 1st place trophy from the tournament a couple weeks ago. At the tournament, they ran out of 1st place trophies. Not sure how that happens, but anyway, he got it this morning. #1 seemed happy for him.

Loved the earrings I made today. Knitting project needs work. But off to DD's play in a bit.. She is so enjoying be involved in the Drama Club, I am so happy for her excitement.

DD's play was awesome. The talent of those kids blows me away. i saw her father has I walked past the row he was sitting in, I looked over and smiled and he just looked away, what an azz. But no matter, DD is thrilled with her work and is at the after party now, We are having a late dinner, will start the burgers at 11, a friend's parent is dropping her off. We will have laughs eating burgers late at night in our PJ's. Nice memories.

Just got back from the first day of our chili cook-off - I'm
totally exhausted! We have 15 cooks - enough to get our
cook-off sanctioned! yay us! DH and I did a fish fry for
them last night - 18 people! After the judging & photos
today, the cooks all gathered around with their adult
beverages (no driving involved - they all had their RVs/
campers there!) I went home and prepared two huge trays
of canapes. They practically inhaled them! Then we had a
pot luck dinner. 5 cooks brought yellow rice! It was a joke
on one of the cooks who always complains if there isn't any
yellow rice on the table! There was enough today!
